Great walking distance to old town

Need to park in the street which is metered parking from 9am to 7pm on weekdays; or there is a parking lot at the end of the road. We were there during the week and our host stated that we could park in the restaurant car park until 6pm; then move the car into the street overnight.

Great location. Easy walk into Salzburg plus restaurants and supermarkets are close by. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is actually 3 rooms - the kitchen has a double bed in it. The dining room also has a double bed plus table\chairs and is very spacious. The bathroom has a washing machine and dryer which were very useful. We had a great stay.

Not enough hangers in the wardrobe and no clothesline to dry clothes after removing damp clothes from the dryer to line dry. Other than those small details, it's a great place.

Quiet building and location; peaceful 20 min walk to altstadt-truly enjoyed walking through Siegmundstor tunnel to and from apartment; kitchen was well stocked with supplies; spacious rooms; felt very secure entering building and then entering apartment. Loved the table above washing machine and dryer to fold clothes.

Not much, could use a toaster. Clearly said no smoking in stairwell, but it was not followed by other rooms

Spacious comfortable apartment, good beds and well equipped kitchen. Full size washer and dryer are a huge plus. Our host Daniel was very prompt and respectful in communicating with us.

At arrival. The smell of condiments was very strong, then we realized there was a restaurant down below. We opened the windows and voilá, smell was gone.

There was no breakfast. Location was very convenient and just a few minutes from old town. We arrived at night, so there's a good Pizza place around the corner and a great Brazilian restaurant down below

The entrance door is very difficult to open!!! We try to unlock the door for more than 20 mins in the rain and the owner not response our message in Booking.com until we check out. Fortunately that we have one phone that have Europe sim card. So, we decide to call him to help me unlock the door then he guid us to ask for help from restaurant staff. IT NEED EXPERIENCE AND SPECIFIC ANGLE TO OPEN THE ENTRANCE DOOR. Two nights that we stay here, we exciting every time when we come back to this apartment coz we not sure we gonna success to unlock the door or not. the WIFI quite slow and death some time when we all connected. The owner send the instruction that the WIFI password is on TV but our room (Top1) have no TV 😂 So, we have send the message to him but no response then we have to make a phone call to get the WIFI password. It might not a big deal to call to owner for traveller with Europe cellphone but for us that brought data roaming sim card from home country, it will be high additional charge per minute. So, the issues that annoying my stay are the entrance door and slow response of the owner ( honestly, his response is very nice when we call him but if we have no sim card that able to call, I don't wont to think about it😨)

The apartment so specious for our group (4 people) the kitchen is fully function with coffee and other stuff. the location close to the town and parking is free during Saturday to Sunday. you can park in front of the apartment. that very convenient!!! the bed so comfy but pillow case is smell like an old guy head. The environment very quiet even though the restaurant is on the ground floor. In concluding, I impress the space, location and function of the room.

Place had no parking, we had to park on street and then for a night in garden of a restaurant.

The place had nice ammenities, anything one might need. It had good location in quiet street.

There were ants in the flat, not a few but a lot. That should be solved. Ask the host about it before booking.

There are no shutters in the rooms, only curtains which do not darken the room very well. May be disadvantageous if someone can sleep only in absolute darkness. But that was no issue for us…

Nice Appartment next to Old town. Everything in walking distance via using the tunnel. Parking for car on the streets or nearby public garage(s) possible. Very friendly host and easy communication.

The rotating plate of the microwave oven was missing. The fluorescent lamp in the kitchen didn't work. Weak WiFi outside main bedroom.

We were there Monday till Wednesday and therefor we had free parking but on the other days you need to pay. This was not clear to me on advance. Better to mention it in the information.

Clear, quick and honest communication. Clean and light rooms. Quiet decoration. Good ventilation by opening the windows. As mentioned in other reviews: there are roads on both sides of the house but they are not very busy at the nighttime. We could sleep with the window open. Bedroom is large and with a dinnertable and extra double bed. In the other, smaller room is the kitchen and a bed as well (possible to transform in a doublebed). Tip: mention the beautiful viewpoints. The walk from the appartment over the Mönchsberg to the Festung offers a really lovely view and quiet bit of nature right next door! And also the viewpoint at the Basteiweg (Kapuzinerweg) was really wonderful and was the finishing touch for our trip to Salzburg.

The description of the apartment is somewhat misleading. One room is big and has a double bed and a single bed that can be made into a double bed. The other room is the kitchen with one single bed that again can be made into a double bed but then you don't really have much space in the kitchen. Additionally, in the kitchen there is no wardrobe and the wardrobe on the corridor is locked. If you wish privacy for two couples, you won't find it there. Also the apartment has a recurring problem with flying ants. When it gets dark they show up at the entrance to the flat outside and inside the flat and in the bathroom. We informed the owner and the next day somebody came with the detergent to kill them and the problem seemed to disappear but it should be monitored regularly. It was very hot and air conditioning would be useful. The road near the windows is not big but it is quite noisy at night.
