Some finishing touch missing: no shelves for soaps/shampoo etc in showers, no place to hang wet towels or ski clothing. Very limited cabinet space in bedrooms so had to store clothes inside luggage. Would be nice to have hand soap ready in the apartment after long day of traveling.

The balcony of our apartment number 1. As I‘m a smoker the balcony is always very important to me. But if it’s on ground level facing the street next to the entrance with automated light you will not get any privacy while having you morning coffee or the sundowner. But i guess that is a very special complaint ;).

High price for an apartment (price as high as hotel with breakfast and dinner) Only one towel per person for the whole stay. Missing few things for cleaning the apartment … no hairdryer … no place to dry clothes. One washing and drying machine for the whole building and chargeable 1 euro (so need to keep coins all the time). Reception far away from the apartments … so try not to lose the key or something similar …

New apartments … close to ski slopes … quite surrounding … nice view (mountain side).

Couch not made into a bed even though we specified we were 6 people and we'd be using it. When couch was opened up food and trash was found. There are no cleaning supplies provided, not even a broom so it was difficult to clean. That extends to the rest of the stay. Space beneath the beds also needs a better cleaning. The heating is infloor so there are no hanging places for jackets and etc. to dry a little until the next day. Severe lack of hanging places in general for 6 people all having jackets, gloves, scarves etc. Only 1 big and 1 small towel provided for each guest for a week and 1 hand towel in the bathroom. I think that's really not enough for a week and I'd suggest bringing your own additional towel. No communication about the parking spaces. The apartment only comes with 1 and we had to find another parking spot far away for the second car. Not a problem but it'd be nice if it was shown beforehand.

The vacuum machine was so dirty and not clean, and it was too smelly whenever I tried to use it. I had to buy new vacuum cleaner bags (dust bags) in order to be able to use the vacuum machine.

The apartment was not ready at the advertised check-in time even though we told the agency multiple times that we plan to arrive early. Even worse, there was not even a hint of an apology for the mishap. The "Gastein guest cards" that were advertised during the online registration process never materialized, what we got instead was an outdated form letter with tons of instructions on how we should pre-clean the apartment before leaving and the associated fines if we fail to follow the procedure. Not exactly how one would hope to be greeted when arriving in an apartment after waiting for the cleaning crew to get its job done. Finally, the Austrian apartment builders still haven't mastered the fine art of sound insulation -- we could easily track the movements of the guests above us. Fortunately they were quiet; unfortunately they were early risers.

Once we settled in, we loved the apartment and the walking distance to the ski resort. I was amazed at how well equipped the kitchen was -- the number of plates, cups and glasses was well above what one usually gets.

The bathrooms and bedrooms are really spacious. Therefor the living room is a bit small. We are a family of five. So we had to extend the couch. After that there wasn't much space left in the living room. Also there are only little possibilities to store your clothes. The cupboards are very small with only drawer each.

1. The apartment is overloaded with furniture, there is no space for people to move around. 2. The three room apartment comes with 3 bathrooms. When checking with the staff before arrival, they said only 1 bathroom is available. Seems like they have no idea about their property facilities. 3. There was no hair dryer. 4. The dishwasher was so badly maintained before, all the cutlery and utensils were smelling horrible on arrival. We had to wash them by hand all the time. Rewashing them in dishwasher did not help at all. 5. Gastein card was not provided. On asking the support people, there was no answer until we checked out.
