How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No basic items like paper towels, coffee filters and oven paper.
Very close to the ski bus stop. The kitchen has an excellent view and you can see the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

Maybe a microwave oven will be useful.
This is a very nice and very clean apartment. The kitchen is independent from bedrooms, if you close the door the food smell will not go in the rooms. The TV is in the living, which is connected with the kitchen. The WiFi is very good. The ski room is accessible direct from outside. The area is proper for a good relax. The ski domain Kitzsteinhorn can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Great place. Extremely nice and helpful host (Günther, thanks again for everything!). Our apartment (#2) consisted of 2 twin bedrooms and an extra room with a sofa and a TV, a kitchen with a table and 4 chairs and a large bathroom. Huge balcony with an access from one of the twin bedrooms and also from the extra room. All necessary facilities in place (no microvawe, but the oven worked just fine). Plenty of pots, casseroles and other kitchen utensils. Integrated dishwasher. Hair-dryer in the bathroom. Extra toilet in the corridor. Free parking in front. Convenient ski-room on site. Quiet neighbourhood. Ski bus to Kaprun (K) or to Zell am See (660) 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Supermarkets - Billa and Adeg close nearby (open also Sundays 14-18). Warning: plenty of speed detectors on the way from Salzburg to Kaprun!

Gunter is a special host, with little trust issues. We hope he will treat his future guest more polite.
Good accommodation , clean, quiet and warm. Good equipped kitchen. Also parking place included.

Nothing, it is all perfect.
This was our 3rd stay at Gletscherblick apartments and everything was as good as before. We would not consider staying anywhere else in Kaprun as we are very happy with this apartment. This is a top quality apartment, very clean and prepared to the highest standards for our arrival. Excellent bathroom with plenty of hot water. The towels and bedding are provided which is very nice compared to most French apartments which charge a lot extra for this service. Nice big balcony which we appreciated on the sunny days when we returned from the slopes as sun still there till late so nice for early evening drinks. We love the location, very peaceful yet so close to ski bus and a short walk into town. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby but we cooked most nights in the apartment, everything you need is here. There is a very well stocked Billa supermarket a few minutes away as well as lots of the usual shops and a larger supermarket in Kaprun centre. As we had our car the easy parking in reserved area outside the apartment was greatly appreciated. The host, Guenter, is a lovely chap and he will offer good advice and help when necessary. You can order fresh bread/rolls for the morning and they are delivered to the apartment by a lovely local bakery. Great place to stay, thoroughly recommended.

Very comfortable bad and well equipped kitchen. Missing a bit dishwasher what can safe water usage for owner and make a life more simple for tourists.
Great place for a stay when you want to ride a bike in Austrian Alps. Clean, comfortable and very nice and helpful owner. The only minus is a neighbor who has been cutting wood almost whole day... he should do it before season.
