Large floor-to-ceiling windows are good, but they face the north side, so the room was gloomy. The room is on the first floor in front of the entrance, so people are constantly walking in front of the windows. The bed looks like it's in a box due to the framing, it's not pleasant. Large firm pillows. It was the problem with the shower - when you turn it on, a lot of water immediately accumulates on the floor, which spills all over the floor - the drain is clearly clogged. There are no rags to wipe up the water. The refrigerator is broken - the door does not close. They were unable to fix this during my stay.

Now I did not mind this, but just know that your apartment won't be cleaned during your stay. You will have to clean on your own, just like your own apartment. Not everybody enjoys that. Especially since cleaning utensils are reduced to a small broom set, a vacuum you can borrow and a mop you can borrow as well. I went to the drugstore to buy little sponges, dish soap and cleaning wet wipes for the surfaces. You will also have to take out the garbage on your own, which is fairly easy as the garbage room is just next to the garages. Again, not everybody will enjoy this. I personally didn't mind because it does bring a lot of privacy and you will never feel as if you are in the way or need to leave the rooms.

It was our second stay at IG Apartments Orchideenpark. This is our favourite location to stay in Vienna. It's friendly and perfect for long stays, especially when you prefer a certain amount of freedom and autonomy. This place feels like your own apartment for the time being. The beds are cozy and both times we had a small terrace with a garden. The chairs with table outside and the coffee machine in the kitchen, make for a perfect breakfast outside in the mornings. Supermarkets and drug stores, as well as the tram D to the city center, are right around the corner. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and utensils so do not worry about not being able to cook yourself a meal here. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. Just go and ask them if you are unsure about something or need help, they will be available for you until the afternoon. A big plus for me, was the fitness center, which had the all the equipment you could wish for. We definitely will be back during our next stay and cannot wait to enjoy this location again!

Check IN process was a nightmare. They had sent me instructions, but 30 days before arrival (got lost with other messages). I arrived on a saturday at 2pm; Reception desk was closed and no telefones worked or messages answered. I had to stay in another hotel for that first night since I could not do checkin there. The property is surrounded by three (3) streets; even if I had seen the checkin instructions the day I arrived, I would not find the gate with the checkin machine. Because the property address says one street and the machine is located on the gate in another street. So, try to avoid arriving during weeked. If so, check checkin instructions in google maps several days before.

Confortable bed; good kitchen; good to have apartment and a minimum infrastructure of a reception desk as if it was an hotel.

In the summer it does get warm, there is no AC or fan offered in the room. The beds are also a bit awkward (almost like being in a box) and does not allow much airflow, a bit claustrophobic.

Very spacious apartment with everything we needed. We had our two dogs with us and the apartments with the small yards were nice and convenient. Located nearby tram/bus stops and the train station. We enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately our windows looking into the road , that happens to be very busy starting from 5.30 am ( despite the fact that road is between living building and seems to be quite!) Apparently cars cut the way between main roads

There was no AC and during our stay, there was 36 degrees celsius in Vienna, so it was a pure nightmare to stay there (we needed to work from home). We stayed on the ground floor and it was good news in terms of hot weather outside but after 2 weeks we felt depressed because we were seeing little sun (there was only a grass hill outside). The staff was quite annoying. We were overcharged for the dog (good news I noticed it). A couple of days were full of construction noise.

A simple way of checking in. We lived on the ground floor and had a small backyard which was helpful because we had a dog.

The whole complex, the staff, the apartment, i was with a my family with kids, they enjoyed the little garden outside the apartment. the apartment was furnished with everything you need during a long stay. I asked for an extra bed and they provided. I asked for parking in weekend and they provided me a key. nearby there are 2 supermarkets, and bipa store, hairdressers, public transportation very near. The facilities: Gym, sauna, and pool which unfortunately was closed during our stay because of the cold and the bad weather.
