We were a family group of 4+child. Made the booking for 5 but ended up getting two apartments in two different buildings. Plumbing a bit dodgy. Had to turn taps several times before water came out of taps.

Floors were very slippery with residue from cleaning left on the tiles. My daughter at one point slipped and hit her head on the bedroom door frame. When we mopped the floors to remove the residue the surfaces proved to be very dirty.

Location was fantastic. Facilities provided all that we required for our trip. Arrival instructions, parking and checkout procedures were clear and easy to follow.

We needed to contact the Hello Host team as our code for the key safe did not work. We were given another code that worked fine. The courtyard was full of weeds, & there were cobwebs on the courtyard furniture. The courtyard let the whole place down, but I have informed the Hello Host team about this, as the photos on the booking.com website of the courtyard show how pleasant the courtyard could look, & obviously had looked in the past.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. It was in a very convenient location. Lots of toilet paper, soap, shampoo etc. The Hello Host team were easy to communicate with, & answered any queries we had.

The check in is absolutely bad! Safety key box was located/placed in a very obscur place! Couldn't see it at night, let alone trying to enter the pin numbers. Why on earth, there is a massive electronic safe key box, place inside the apartment entrant, amongst other little dark metal keyboxes! Very confusing! Sorry to say, but the safe key box on No 1 location is so dump, and hard to find! There is an external coins operating laundry, which the powder vending took my $1 without ejecting the powder! Should clearly indicate that is an external laundry, not the usually inside apartment one!

That the front door is open 24hrs so anyone can wander into the apartment block. There are no CCTV cameras either. The apartment was dated. A bathroom and kitchen upgrade would make a massive difference.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the view from the balcony was amazing.

Interior a bit tired looking. Car parking very tight. Even though the unit had a dedicated parking spot it was taken by someone else on one night.

It is loacted in a beautiful area across from Glenelg Beach which is just a beautiful friendly area. The service we rented through were accessable and supportive, their communication is excellent. Its so nice to have a beach, a pier, boardwalks with restuarants and a happy and vibrnat atmosphere all happening on a holiday! One thing that just cannot be helped is the apartments proximity to the Airport which meant hearing planes flying over on a regular basis. I didnt find it agitating, just noticeable.
