The location is very good, It's easy to go to CBD, we don't need to take buses and train. The view from this hotel is also good.

Staff was friendly but not knowledgeable about transportation connections and vague about where to go to find food. The room looked nice but the double bed was a bit too saggy in the middle for a good nights sleep ok

The rooms were a bit small to store luggages as well so we were hopping around everyones stuff.

The facilities and lounge area was amazing next to the drinks machine, very comfortable and nice to study in. Then walk outside and its a garden like balcony, massive, with loads of chairs, tables, recliners and even hammocks! With a lovely view of the brisbane river.

It was very expensive for a hostel we paid $1000 for one week and no weekly rates were available for private rooms unfortunately. We had just done a food shop in Cole’s a day after arriving as well and had our bag in a fridge which stopped working and our bag wasn’t found after spending 100$ on groceries.

My sheet had some stains on it, some stoves in the kitchen didnt work and the kitchen was packed in the evenings

The communal area was very very nice, good view, they had hairdryers to borrow and the kitchen was good, room was relatively clean, two toilets and two showers for a ten bed dorm is very nice, the overall vibe if the hostel was good, close to cbd and nice staff

staff need more training before serving customers. odour always around the corridors. Make a lot of noise in the middle of night when some of the travelers get drunk and talk loud in the corridor that's very annoying . people can't sleep.

Not enough cutlery in the kitchen

I booked a bed in a 7-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm, as a male, you have access to pleinty of sanitories throughout the hostel (at least on the floor, 5 showers, 5 toilets, 4 sinks). All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, without oven. The common space is nice, nice outside sitting areas. Free pool table, swimming pool. The DJ set for Christmas eve was appreciable. The WiFi is good. 150m away from Coles supermarket. 700m away from Roma Street Station / Greyhound/ Premier Motor Service bus stop. 2km away from South Bank Parklands. The staff (Aaron (manager), Norma, Emma, Cody, Lucas, Grace, Manu) is nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

Arrogant guests keeping you awake all night. Being woken up every single night. One night being 4 am by fully grown adults acting like children running and screaming down the hall way. Utter disrespect. The facilities could of been cleaner but again I think it’s down to the guests being scruffy not the staff as there was constantly staff cleaning.

The location was good around 20-30 min walk to places. The pool area was a bonus as was the kitchen. The staff were lovely.

One reception staff member wasn’t very friendly upon arrival to drop my luggage, before check in. When I asked quick few information about Brisbane (as I’ve never been there before) he was not very happy to help me or give a guide map…. He gave me a guide map after I informed that I requested it by Booking.com message before arrival date. When I came back for check in, the afternoon staff members were friendly and helpful!

The kitchen is not clean. I understand it is not because of the staff members, but the rules are very loose and people don't respect them at all. Every time you want to cook ( after 10am or 7pm) it is a disaster.

Quite a few areas needed some maintenance showers broken for example , also no lockers which would have made me feel a little more secure. Showers not the cleanest but the toilets seemed to be quite clean

The outside areas were great , nice pool and amazing view . The staff couldn’t have been more helpful a great bunch.

Building seemed pretty old and so did the rooms and facilities. Yet, for only staying there for a night, it was okay and the location was good too.

I arrived pretty late, so the front office staff waited for me past the reception hours, which I very much appreciated. There was AC in the room and a plug near the bed.
