Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

AustraliaOnly couple complaint well not really complaints we request pool towels from maid service as we walked up to our room from breakfast firstly we waited for lady to bring some up she never came up so we went back to her and asked again and were adviced run out of stock but wasn't supplied another towel so we didn't go for a swim in the end And we wanted to take our breakfast to our room but were advise you couldn't but can understand these are you policy's But didn't reuin our stay

Two things stood out for me with this property 1. the appointment of the resort & rooms were beautiful, something you don’t see too often with most hotels going for the minimalist look 2. The Pool was awesome! Couple that with the restaurant overlooking the Pool area… truly made it feel like an overseas resort experience Easy access to a choice of, on street or secure parking. And the most important thing, the bed was extremely comfortable (i’ve worked in the mattress industry so I am a little fussy)

AustraliaThe bathroom was musty smelling, the couch was badly stained from the air-conditioning unit which was leaking and dripped water while in use and our tv remote did not work. I do like the resort so was a bit disappointed with room inconsistency. Our last room was the same type but a lot better.
The staff were very friendly at check in and resort is well situated.

Not happy that the security bond was not supposed to be charged to my account. Then was asked if would like parking and room service to be taken off bond. Then have two charges on my bank account which I have to wait 4 days to clear. If i am told bond is not a charge then my money should be refunded immediately.

GuernseyWe only wanted a room for the afternoon to give us somewhere from the time of checking out our holiday rental till the departure time of our evening flight. The Pagoda did not do day rates, so we had to pay for a whole night just to have the room for 4-5 hours. It was worth it for us as we are an elderly couple. Very few hotels around Perth do day rates, so the Pagoda was no different to them, and the Pagoda's rates for one night were very reasonable so I'm not complaining, just wishing they might consider doing it if they have vacancies on the day. We would stay here again.
The staff were excellent, especially a very friendly and polite young lady who checked me in. She also helped me when I got lost looking for the pool towels and put a note on the computer for other staff when I thought I'd lost my old camera. ( I hadn't, it was still in our car). The room was fairly large and very clean. The pool was warm and in a pretty setting. I had a lovely swim. There is a bridge right by the hotel to cross the main road and access walks along the river. There is also some free parking in the road as well as secure paid parking behind the hotel.

AustraliaThe staff on check in argued with me about the name on the booking and blamed me for not being able to find the booking. It was booked under my booking.com account which clearly shows my surname and I have him the confirmation number as well. It took us almost 30mins to check in and we were given no information about where the pool was, where the lifts were or where to have breakfast.
