Property was good for our stay but these are some things that could be improved for Lodge 4: 1. The doorknob for the 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced. 2. Maybe could provide paper towels for the kitchen. 3. The light for the laundry area needs to be repaired as it couldn’t be turned on. 4. The hood for stove couldn’t be turned on or maybe we were unable to figure out how to do so as no instruction was provided. 5. Maybe could install a ceiling fan in the kitchen area for better ventilation esp when cooking. 6. Lock for bathroom at the back of the house needs to be replaced as couldn’t be locked from inside.

Everything was excellent for us. Easy to enter the house by electronic keypad, clear instructions given. Clean property. No noise whatsoever even though the property is next to a construction site & a house was being renovated at the back of this property. Utensils provided were good enough. Location was excellent as the property is very near to Coles Hilton & the drive to city was quite short. Host was very accommodating as s/he let us checked in earlier than 3pm after request.

Air conditioning controls both up and seperate down stairs apartment. So sometimes whoever was down stairs would turn it off/on. Potable cot was very lumpy, my child did not want to sleep in it at all.

Lack of pillows and mattresses were extremely unsupportive of your back/body. Noise from upstairs. Not explained in description that its a two storey house.and that the upper level is rented out separately

Aircon shared with upstairs unit. Both days the upstairs guests kept turning it off constantly. They can turn off their own zones but instead opted to continuously turn the entire unit off. Very frustrating.

They didn’t provide enough beds or bed sized or bedding suitable for number of guests booked. One person has to sleep on the couch which didn’t pull into a bed at all and we had to share beds as only three beds provided but seven guests booked. The front door lock was difficult to use and open kept getting locked out. A dishwasher would be a welcome addition for holiday stays. Parking space was also difficult to access without getting blocked in by other vehicles. Was nice that all rooms had individual air conditioning systems.

Needs a bit of a detail clean , things like blinds , windows , exhaust fans and skirtingboards (spring clean) but all the everyday stuff is nice and clean.

More than adequate for what we required but was nice to have the space . Easy to get to , central to everywhere we needed to get to .Bedding was great , nice and clean , bathrooms nice and clean . Easy off road parking. Has all the crockery, cutlery and kitchen supplies for those longer stays with a family . We found it very comfortable and suited our needs for our quick trip .

The house is well appointed it just needs small things done to it to make it a great property.

The property was fine our only complaints were that while the bathrooms were cleaned to a high standard before we arrived the rest of the property needed. A dann good clean. I purchased white vinegar and cleaning cloths there was nothing to clean with. They supplied only one tea towel and no cleaning products. Also the mattress on the bed on which I slept and the front room need replacing.

I was not aware it was upstairs. I was lead to believe it was a house. I was not told there would be people downstairs. It was freezing untill the aircon got fixed.

It was quite a shock to risk life and limb and turn into what appeared to be an industrial site, with a port a loo in the front yard. Whilst we knew there were renovations happening in the back of the property, the front yard, porch and back verandah were all in need of attention - the property actually looked abandoned with leaves and dust piled up at the front door.

Once inside, this house is roomy and comfortable for a short stay. The beds were comfortable but as Queenslanders, we needed more blankets which weren’t available esp as the air con in the second bedroom blew cool air only. Location was good and it was great to have Coles just a short walk away. We also were pleased we were only a short distance from the ferry to Rottnest Island and the great birding at Bibra Lake. The key pad entry and exit was great with clear instructions given on how to use.
