Fantastic location. Great view. Quiet. Visited by 10 different species of birds - came close as used to visiting for the native bird seed. Fire pit - lovely to sit with the fire at night - lots of firewood. Kitchen - older but well stocked. Kayaks available - for a serene paddle on the lake. A jar of the local jam was a nice addition.

Absolute slice of paradise location. Morning was filled with a symphony of bird calls and a spectacular sunrise. Host thought of every detail you might need. The cabin was super clean and comfortable with lovely extras like beautiful shampoo, conditioner and bath gel, as well as Nespresso pod coffee. If you want to cook, or light a cozy fire outside - everything you may need is there. My son enjoyed fishing on the jetty and feeding the birds was a highlight of each day!

I don't have anything to say about this. It's a place where I'd definitely love to go back .

- The location is perfect, not too far away from the town centre as well as Lake Entrance. The best thing is that Gippsland Lake is right in front of the place. - You can enjoy a nice walk through a short trail and see the sunrise. The scenery there is definitely beautiful. - The owner offers free kayaks and lifejackets, even if you are a beginner, you will enjoy it. - The owner also offers free bird seed that you can feed the birds, and believe me, there are different types of birds and you can have close contact with them just like they are your pets. - The facilities provided would make you feel like it's your home.

We stayed in cabin 4. There was one night, we accidentally closed the toilet door and we couldn’t open it, as the door locked by itself, took us awhile to open it with the key.

We are a group of 9 with four teens. Lovely greeting by Kim with a bottle of jam and card. We had the best view ever, birds feeding was great fun, my boy love the kayaking and quiet surrounding which we enjoyed it, we will definitely come back. Thank you for hosting us.

Cabins are a bit tired and old. Fly screens had holes and a few things needed repairs. No lighting up the driveway to see your way to outdoor laundry. Bunk bed quite squeaky.

Cosy, clean, warm, the perfect family retreat! The host, Kim was wonderful and had everything thought out. She even came to our rescue when we found ourselves stranded without a car!

The stove and some of the cooking equipment was adequate but could be refreshed/updated.

Fantastic location - clean, spacious, quiet with a lovely view out over the lake from the deck, but still close to shops and restaurants at Lakes Entrance (10 - 15 minutes drive) and other attractions. The birds were great.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a great stay! On arrival we greeted by the birds who we enjoyed feeding during our stay. Made use of the campfire the second night, a boardgame and had some fun on the complimentary kayaks! Would 1000% recommend - it’s a lovely place with views of the lake. Quick drives to Lakes Entrance and Metung. We stayed as 4 adults and found the place spacious with lots of nice touches.

All was great

Nungurner is such a lovely quiet place to stay and is not far from Lakes Entrance and Metung, so ticks those boxes. Nungurner Jetty and the bay are so quiet and peaceful and the Jetty Road Retreat is a great place to stay as our unit had all the conveniences of home plus a lovely outlook over the forest and the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed; the bed was comfie; the deck area great for breakkie and dinner and the local bird population take a keen interest in visitors! One thing I especially liked was the history that the owners (the Kleinitz family) have in the area. Highly recommended

Everything was great

Jetty Road Retreat was one of the first places where we stayed on our tour of the Australia Vic & NSW and NZ. We stayed in 17 accommodations in total and although all were very different this one came out tops for us. As we are from the UK and this was our first trip to Australia we weren't sure what to expect, we went very much on the information supplied. We weren't disappointed, we had a fab time. But if you meet Kim you'll know why, as she considers all the smallest details for her clients.

The lake had quite a few algae, so we did not use the kayaks this time.

The cabins look really simple from the outside, but they are nicely decorated and very comfy on the inside. We loved the bird feeder and being able to see different birds every morning by our window We used the shared bbq space to make a fire and some smores for the kids at night, which was an added bonus. We saw a movie from the DVD stash they offered and appreciated there being kayaks for use, even though we did not. There was so much to do around, from cruising, fishing and eating in nice places, it made our stay really lovely. Kim was very responsive to all my questions (and I had lots)

Our family enjoyed our weekend stay at Jetty Road Retreat. It is in a beautiful peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The kids had a lovely time out on the water in the kayaks and the fire outdoors to have our marshmallows was also a winner! Thanks for a lovely stay.
