2 bedrooms disconnected downstairs did not work for our young family. Also ants +++ all throughout the property.

The property was in a beautiful location - just amazing. Important to note! 2 of the 4 bedrooms were downstairs with no internal staircase. This was an issue for my young children as neither us nor them would be able to sleep down there with no way to hear them or be able to access them in the night. After initially not wanting to get the 2 sofa beds made up as the cleaners had finished they did agree to get someone to come and make up the extra beds upstairs. After this initial hiccup it was a fantastic little trip and would do again.

We appreciated the initial text when we were flooded in however were disappointed that there was no further contact that evening to further check or food supply. I would also suggest that the emergency food cupboard should be checked before every new check in!

The location beautiful was secluded and quiet and tranquil. We loved that we were in the middle of the bush and could not see or hear any neighbors. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable.

No one on-site, poor communication as to which unit I was to stay in. In similar holiday cabin accommodation there has been a central area where unit and name can be displayed. Would make it so much easier and more pleasant. Composting toilet.

We stayed in the Old Dairy which has a lot of character. The bathroom in particular was an experience! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.

there was no baking tray for the oven, only one saucepan, no salad bowls and the dinner plates were small. The cabin needs more kitchen items so that people can cook at home if they chose.

there was no chopping board. For breakfast we only got 2 cubes of butter. There was no oil and to cook a hot breakfast with 2 cubes of butter and eat toast was pretty miserable.

After the first short shower on arrival, we hardly had any hot water left for the rest of the stay. Be prepared for a compostable toilet.

Beautiful grounds, very peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you needed. The restaurant was closed when we stayed there however we knew this when making our booking so we took our own food.

The road to the cabin was a bit scary especially on the turn…but was fun;p Cleaning can be more better especially in the kitchen.

Drop toilet which you have to sprinkle sawdust on. But it doesn't smell and doesn't take away from the experience. Steep driveway also takes getting used to.

Excellent spot with amazing views and the cabin was so quaint and cute. Had all essential amenities and coffee witg a French press which was different.

The cabin is located next to a road, it is not secluded as such. It is also situated next to a large rental house where the noise travels from very easily. Im not sure if we were unlucky but the people staying in this house were exceptionally loud from early in the morning so it wasn't a very relaxing stay. The hot water didn't work in the shower in the morning and they sent someone out to attend to it which was nice but by the time we had to. check out there was still no solution. A fire pit or fireplace would add an extraordinary amount of value to this property

Its a lovely spot conveniently on the Mavis Kitchen property which we had lunch at. An easy getaway in the Northern Rivers.
