Our showers on the first morning were luke warm. Bed was OK - not great. There were bad smells coming from the drains in the bathroom

Great location. Room was clean and well presented. Parking at the door was appreciated. Easy to walk out to get a meal

Plastic on beds. Shower looked great but totally impractical as no shower screen whole bathroom wet. Unit was very spacious but extremely noisy. Back of kitchen I suspect. Rm.35. Rm 9 very quiet but no clock. Expect a bit more for the money.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, one side was on a bit of a slope. Pillows were quite flat (recommend taking your own). The shower door didn’t close all the way, getting water over the floor. Our room was near the kitchen which was a bit noisy (fair enough I guess) but it didn’t go too late.

The room was clean. Plenty of parking. Bathroom was bright and clean.

we didn't have a good night sleep due to a dripping shower which we could not turn off. i informed management the next morning and they were pleased we passed on the info a new washer will probably fix the problem We have stayed at this motel many times over the years and this will not stop us from returning when next in town

Quite small, place & location was boring, pool had lots of bugs, very far from Hunter valley.

The staff didnt have much idea of what had been booked, nearly had the wrong room/place, didn't look to see it was already paid for and wasnt very friendly

I only booked this hotel as it was close to a friends party in Muswellbrook. However, I have stayed here many times before for other events in the area and have never been disappointed.

The bed itself was very comfortable but the bedding was terrible. The mattress protector was a loose plastic sheet. The type that up you use for bed wetters. It was hot, moved around and crinkled up with sharp folds. It was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were hard and there was only one extra. The bathroom looked great but apart from the automatic lighting, wasn’t very functional. The shower screen was inadequate and water went everywhere. The option of rain head or hand held shower is nice but the switch between the two was difficult to manage. It ended up coming apart in my hand and my husband had to come in and fix it for me. Most of the rooms in the motel are the traditional, park in front of your room type. However, rooms 34-39 are tucked away off an enclosed corridor. Parking is underneath the rooms and access is via the stairs. I am disabled and can’t manage stairs. Luckily I could get out of the car before my husband drove down into the carpark and reach the room via a ramp. I would have, however, been in trouble if I had been travelling on my own. The motel didn’t even tell my husband about the parking when he checked in which would have made a solo visit even more difficult. Another problem was the heavy room doors with fast automatic closure. Great for security but loud when a door off that echo-y corridor is slammed shut during the night. My final disappointment was the inadequate wi-fi. It was so slow I could barely check my email.

It was a nice looking room, very clean and spacious. The air-con worked well, especially since the weather was very hot and steamy.
