Wow! We stayed in Chalet 5 and loved every minute of our time away. ! We loved the seclusion and privacy. We had the privilege of hand feeding rosellas, cockatoos, doves, sugar gliders and apossum! The hot tub and fireplace made our stay so enjoyable Thanks to Paul that made us feel very welcome and accommodated all of our needs. Thanks you for a magical romantic getaway ♥️

Limited phone reception and no wifi (both of which were explained in the prior communication from the hosts). Still possible to get somewhat decent Optus 4G if one patiently wanders around the house.

Chalet 5 was a beautifully appointed large two-storey wooden building in the midst of an eucalyptus forest at the very entrance to Springbrook. Nice and clean with lots of reasons to stay inside (e.g. hot tub with 270 degree view of the forest, fireplace, two sitting porches and a balcony, bird feeder etc etc). Still spent a lot of time exploring the tracks - the waterfalls were magnificently full after recent rains. Plan to come back.

We were unlucky that the power went out for over 12hours. So the last day we couldn't have showers use water or the spa,with no lights. It was lucky we could use the spa to wash off after our hike. This had nothing to do with the owners it was just unfortunate for us.

Loved the location. So private. The Spa was excellent after hikking all day.

Needed some more emergency lighting for when the site experiences power failure. The site lost power due to power lines affected by a fallen tree and the backup generator failed, so we had no hot water and couldn't use the shower or the spa, and the fridge stopped working. The cooker was gas though, so we could boil hot water and cook.

Fantastic location, loved the bush setting and local wildlife, accommodation was excellent and very clean. Spa bath was a very welcome treat after a long day's hiking. Log burner fire was very cosy and plenty of wood was supplied. We loved the unplug from everyday life and having no mobile service or internet was a refreshing change. Paul at reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely loved it. Very clean and had plenty of downloaded movies as well. If only there was a bathroom upstairs it would have been perfect. Would still consider going back again😊

Loved the wildlife that was present from the moment we arrived. Staff were exceptionally lovely and welcoming. Loved that this spot was quite and relaxing which is exactly what we needed to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and 20 years together.

The location was in amongst beautiful lush rainforest, creating a world of peace and calm. Exactly what we needed. Plenty to explore or simply stay in and enjoy your surroundings.

The only downside was the smell in the sauna due to the room not being aired out enough. It was barely noticeable but!

This place was absolutely amazing! It was so well prepared and comfortable with everything that we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Parking for cabin 3 was a confusing, but managed in the end.

Friendly service, Comfortable bed and great Spa, sitting out on the deck in the rainforest was just beautiful with birds visiting. :-)

Would’ve been nice to have covered balconies so we could enjoy the rainforest during rainy periods , felt a little strange having plastic plants throughout the chalet, when it’s located in plant heaven

Amazing accomodation in a beautiful area. A fantastic place for a getaway with lots of hiking. Really appreciate Paul - he is very friendly and helpful!
