Driveway entry needs a ramp to prevent scraping under the car. Very difficult to unlock or lock entry door, lock needs attention. Lounge room window missing a blind, very glary in the afternoon sun. The house is in need of some maintenance repairs eg kitchen cupboard hinges, front wooden door sticks, needs fitting adjustment and the exterior needs some work to bring it up to 5 stars.

Charming, holiday home with lovely water views from the expansive deck in a peaceful location within walking distance to Sandpiper Beach. Great BBQ, comfortable beds, free wifi was bonus. Easy drive to Coles Bay tourist attractions, cafes and grocery store. Basic supplies are provided, so bring everything you need to cook unless you plan to eat out.

Comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Beautifully clean, well presented and had everything you could need during a stay.

The bathroom was so tiny and the seperate toilet was so tight. kitchen and appliances were very old and mattresses were not comfortable on beds. Shower had a mind of its own and water pressure was on and off while showering. We had to buy batteries for the remote on tv also.

Good location and great outdoor space if the weather allowed us to sit outside. It was ok for a 1 night stay in the area.

The owners were difficult to communicate with. limit your use of linens or they will charge you arbitrary fees.

Not all windows in lounge had blinds, which we would have rather closed at night. (Note, all bedrooms and bathroom had blinds, I am pretty much grasping for a negative)

- Bathroom and kitchen definitely so dated and worn out, defo in need for complete makeover/ update - Toilet cleanliness was not great - Water pressure & water temperature (shower) are not reliable (it is okay during summer however for winter probably not). Water turns hot and cold by itself, same with water pressure. - Rubbish bin was not lined (and house rule stated we have to throw rubbish into the bin outside, lucky we had spare rubbish bags) - Several lights are not working

No blinds in the kitchen and dining areas- neighbours can see straight in and the morning sun blinds you when in the kitchen. Front door tricky to open. Freezing in winter- only one heater in main living area and one portable heater for 3 bedrooms.

Entertainment options for kids and rainy days (board games, books, DVDs), great views, back yard to run around in, lots of seating nooks to relax and read, full kitchen, spacious living area. Good location relative to Coles Bay/Friendly Beaches

Our initial reaction coming inside was hard to determine how we felt. It didn't have that warm, welcoming, homely feeling. While initially we thought, this will do, later we grew to enjoy it more. Maybe just needs some more items around the place to feel a touch less sterile.

The views of the water are lovely from the outside deck. We had a stunning sunset and the drive to the national park for hiking is very close.

Poor and single toilet with poor lighting. Low water pressure in shower, cramped shower. Sticking doors moving floors.

We could not get tv reception for 2/7/9/10 or SBS. Some of the Lights did not work and flicked on. House needs rewiring. Not much in the way of utensil. The frying pan fell apart. The doors do not close. Low water pressure. needs a bigger pump for the tank. Not a lot of basic supplies in pantry. No filter in the water filter jug. No dryer.
