Not really their fault, as it's the design of the old-fashioned cottage, but the kitchen is tiny, which the host openly declared as she showed me around. Made it a little challenging but everything else was great.

Beautiful cottage, in pretty grounds, in a great area. They'd tried hard to provide the appliances one would like. We had a comfortable stay.

A great location on the outskirts of Deloraine. Very welcoming and friendly hosts _ Rod & Lyn. We stayed in one of the two refurbished historic cottages. On the morning of our departure, Rod showed us around the interior of the historic mansion which is his and Lyn's home complete with a fascinating collection of antiques and art work. This property is quite unique.

The cottage was very comfortable in the grounds of a lovely old estate house. Great location to see Platypus on the river walk through town. Rod Paul was very friendly and welcoming and Jock (dog) was a welcome and very cute visitor

Having to wait for the owner to arrive (not too long) before getting the keys. Tried phoning but no response. A key safe for contactless entry would have been more convenient.

Location was very good and easily accessible. Very comfortable bed and couch. Wifi was good. The property was very clean.

The bathroom was fine but a bit pokey. Lots of hot water and fluffy towels which is the main thing. Shower is in the bath, it might not suit some people but the bathroom didnt bother us. Would be nice if some olive oil could be put in the kitchen pantry, it's not an easy thing to buy in small quantity or carry around. Margarine and marmalde provided though. There was nothing in our visit that was a problem.

Unbelievable location and was such a surprise when driving up the long tree lined driveway. We felt very grand. Set in a stately garden of mature trees surrounding a large victorian italianate (private) mansion. Very classy. Our cottage was beautifully decorated in traditional style. Bath robes in rooms. Colonial windows overlook the sunny garden, well equipped small kitchen. Friendly owner gave the personal touch. We will stay again if the opportunity arrives. One in a million for wow factor. Like being in rural England.

There was nothing to fault.

A beautiful quiet location within 10 minute slow walk to Deloraine. We were in the two bedroom home and it was just perfect. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. The shower is over the bath (which was fine for us) with grab rails if required. The attention to detail and facilities were faultless. The owners are obviously travellers and have thought the layout and amenities through. Sewing kit, umbrella, robes, coffee beans etc. I'd highly recommend and would stay there again. On beautiful grounds.

We had a little trouble finding the right driveway on our first pass. It would be easier if there was a bigger sign at the street. There is a daycare/park next door. When we checked in the kids were out running around and were fairly noisy. It didn't last too long though.

The cottage was adorable and included a lot of very helpful touches. I used the sewing kit to sew a button back on my pants. The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked. The host was very kind and stayed in contact via text message. We stayed one night, but enjoyed our time here. We liked the location was a little further out of town, but we were still able to walk to the main strip for restaurants. We enjoyed walking around the town!
