The location was a way from Launceston, and was closer to a few rural areas - it was an amazing place and full of heritage and history. A lovely walk along the river and lots of garden to explore.

Our breakfast was cereal, yoghurt , toast and Banana bread - all in the fridge in the Attic where we stayed - it was all lovely and just what we needed. There was also tea & coffee. Very easy and appreciated.

Internet was not working very well. Personally I am a fan of a lot of windows but due to the old building not many windows.

    Very nice and cosy room.

    Nothing!

The whole stay was wonderful. I went with 3 girlfriends to celebrate my 60th birthday and we couldn’t have asked for more. The cottage was beautifully decorated and comfortable and we wanted for nothing. We had a very yummy dinner at the restaurant too. Every course delicious 😋

Stairs to bedroom steep. Difficult to get suitcases upstairs so we kept downstairs In bathroom ( it was very large) Staff not available At receptionist all day Used by walking tours could be a bit noisy in the morning getting their prep talk /packing outside room. May be a concern if you like a sleep in

Beautiful building and garden settings.stylish large 2 storey rooms. Breakfast self serve in room fridge ideal. The restaurant was excellent one of the best meals on our 2 week trip!

The historic (but nicely renovated) inn was a pleasure to stay in. The meal we had in the evening was beautifully prepared and presented, and the breakfast supplied in the room was great. In terms of location, it was very convenient for catching a flight the next morning.

Our room (garden studio) connected to the dining room through a locked door. There was a party of 10 dining which led to a lot of noise. Fortunately though they went off to bed early.

Quaint lovely property. Beautifully appointed, lovely staff lovely garden.

Our welcome and check in wasn't particuarly warm, not as we would have expected given the boutique nature of the accommodation and the price point.

We had dinner downstairs which was lovely. The wait staff were very good. The continental breakfast was perfect.
