The bedrooms need block out curtains as lots of light coming through the blinds at night makes it hard to sleep.

Our unit was above Miss Moneypenny on Hastings St so it was really noisy on Friday and Saturday afternoon and night. We had to keep the sliding door closed to hear the tv and be able to sleep. First come, first serve parking was stressful when we drove off anywhere.

The location was great. Good quality of the unit, appliances, toiletries etc. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

WiFi code missing from back of apartment door. Apparently this is text to your mobile phone on the booking which is no use if you’re international traveller using a local SIM card. Need to rethink this strategy and just leave the code in the apartment.

Somewhat run down. We would easily offer to pay more for better amenities in terms of towels, bedding and furniture. Beds are not the most comfortable.

The apartment was clean, but not as sparkling as we expected it. Being a beach location I understand the difficulty of keeping it perfect in between guests, but we expected a bit more. For example in between the couch pillow seats we inadvertently found quite the collection of chips, sand and pop corns. Similarly under every bed. Most of the fittings in the bathrooms are quite old and tired. The ensuite toilet kept making a refill sound every 10-15 minutes even in the middle of the night. Although there was no leak of water into the seat, it sounded like it needed to be constantly refilling which kept us from having a peaceful sleep. The vicinity to the street and parking is source of lots of noise from late night life and required me to use earplugs to sleep properly. This might be the case only for some apartments as we were in suite 11.

The location is so convenient. Right at the end of Hastings street and 3 min walk to the beach. The TV is modern and has all streaming apps of choice in case of rainy days. Double air conditioning made sure we stayed cool in the humid weather this summer. The fridge is huge and the washing machine was perfect to keep workout and beach gear fresh every day. 2 bathrooms were just perfect for my family of 4. The balcony was also very nice and spacious to chill out in the evening before going out. Access to dedicated secure garage and building was as easy as it gets with the same key fobs. Reception and staff were super helpful with all our requests of refill for toilet paper, shampoo and body wash which were promptly delivered at no extra cost.

Fan in the master bedroom not working (but air-conditioning was, so I compensated). I had a room on the first floor, which meant that the noise woke me up several times a night. No lifts (I have an ankle injury but this was AFTER I made my booking and I was really fine).

Huge apartment, fully functional kitchen (fantastic - I made my own breakfast), easy to park and centrally located.
