It is on a very steep hill, with quite a few stairs so I guess I wouldn’t book if I were with someone frail. Other than that I can’t think of any problems.

We were delighted with the 3 bedroom apartment. Clean, welcoming and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation.

We loved everything. Plenty of space in the 3br, quality furnishings, very clean, nice touches in the bathroom with makeup remover and makeup pads. Staff were lovely and helpful. Walk to every thing.

Stunning heritage building, the three bedroom apartment had everything we needed for our two night stay. Beds were super comfortable and the entire apartment was spacious, exceptionally clean and well appointed.

The stairs! When you arrive or leave I recommend parking on York street, so you don’t have to lug your stuff up multiple stairs.

Gorgeous rooms, a big comfy bed and a spa bath to soak our sore muscles after exploring town.

Stairs only and our room was on the second floor. The door was a little loose in the door frame and it made some thumping noise when the wind would hit it. I pushed a suitcase up against it.

The view, size of the room and location is great. I liked the spa bath too!

Carpet could probably do with a deep clean but that’s more of a suggestion than a complaint.

Room 3 had no views. Large gaps around entrance doors. By the way, no smoking venue .Had to put towels near the gap under the door to stop the overwhelming smell of the smoker next to us.

It was confusing checking in - I arrived early to drop my bags off and realised reception hours were limited. Luckily the cleaners were around to store my luggage. It is an older building and it is on a bit of a hill - not a problem for me but it’s not for everyone.

Quirky place with a large and tidy room. Plenty for what I needed.

We love this property…in fact wanting to stay here again was a catalyst for a return trip to Launceston. The property is just beautiful, the rooms are spacious, private and comfortable. Pia, on reception, is a delight.

The property is beautiful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Our family stayed in four rooms and they each had their own merits. The common theme was that they were all beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and quality furniture.

SO many stairs! If you have luggage, try to drop it off on the main level before parking. If you're not used to driving on Launceston's hills, parking in the allocated car parks is an adventure!

Gorgeous building, great staff, had everything we needed for our stay. It's a little distance out from the main streets, so it was quiet. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and I would be happy to stay there again.

The bathroom door locked unexpectedly luckily; we had something to unlock it with. Perhaps there could be a warning to check this before shutting the door from the bedroom.

The building was amazing with so much history and character, our room was very clean with the traditional old-world charm. The bath was amazing to soak in as well.
