How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Small rooms but it was cute. I’m 185 and my legs didn’t fit the bed 😂
Location right next to ski lift. Friendly breakfast staff. Food was nice

Cleaners don’t knock on the door and just barge in. I was getting changed first time and second time packing my things. There should be a sign indicating make up the room or do not disturb. There is no halal food. Breakfast wasn’t great. Was limited to bread and butter in the end. No lifts in the property for people carrying many things this is not good.
Location was close proximity to the gondola rides. on site restaurant and close to a mini market. Ski equipment was available to rent.

Very weak wifi signal in the room and not only in the room. I had problems catching a strong signal on the whole floor. No elevator. It wasn't a problem for me, but it could be a problem for someone, especially if you are staying on the 3rd floor and have lots of luggage.
The staff is very friendly and professional, receptionists, cleaning ladies, waiters, everyone was very friendly. The location is excellent. The hotel has a garage.

Room was very small. Not good value for the money from that respect.
Easy to find, great location - just few hundred meters from the main gondola, kind staff, good breakfast (self-service). I was able to park in front of the hotel.

Walking to the 4th floor
Breakfast was simply excelent. Position of the hotel is near the ski lift. All staff is great, but concierge is one of the kind. Bravo Gorane!!!

There is no “ do not disturb “ sign to put on the door.. We asked if housekeepers can skip the day but they went to the room anyway.
Great location, everything is nearby such as market, restaurants and bars. Tasty breakfast.

Rooms are bit small .
Hotel is old but very clean and tidy . Excellent location for skiers , gondola is just under the hotel as well as all other such as ski pass tickets , small market , restaurants etc . Stuff in restaurant very friendly and kind, we had only breakfast which was very nice and rich .

Very old hotel and rooms, the bed was horribly uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The parking is not free. Very thin walls and loud noises and voices from all the guests but I guess that’s more on them being rude and ignorant.
The close proximity to the slope is great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Kristal had its ups and downs. Carrying ski gear to the 3rd floor without an elevator was a bit of a workout. It got trickier with no ski room for changing or storing equipment, and the rooms, meant for two, were quite small. Hygiene-wise, my blanket wasn't the cleanest. Also, missing essentials like flip-flops and shower gel added to the quirks. Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement!
The breakfast experience was cozy and comforting with its hearty winter offerings. It fell slightly short in terms of variety, limiting choices for guests with different preferences.

Hotel je na odličnoj poziciji. Osoblje predusretljivo i ljubazno Dorucak odlican. Higijena je na idlicnom nivou. U svakom trenutku smo imali cistu dobu i čiste peškire. Dobar izbor opreme u skijasnici.

Room very small barely fit two small beds. Too hot, heating cannot be regulated I opened the window to be a bit more comfortable, -6 C outside. Breakfast very limited choice.

Breakfast is always the same, refills are slow or none, small rooms, icy roods, hard to park, not close to ski area, restaurants serve food till 10pm, limited choices for breakfast, which is served every day, slow internet, do not accept credit cards for ski equipment, not close to the ski area, and no elevators.

The room is very small with old furniture. The mattress of bad quality, carpets very old and dirty. Breakfast could be much better, every day the same food. The ski room is not accessible directly from the hotel, you need to walk outside to the back of the hotel. The price is just not reflecting the value, for that money you can have better in Jahorina.
The location. The guy who takes care of the luggage and parking is great. Parking available which is very important in Jahorina.
