Gaining entry was a bit confusing, but I think that’s more because the information sent to me via booking.com didn’t come through There are buzzers to the rooms outside. Another guest had clearly misplaced their keys and repeatedly rang our room at 5am in the morning.

The stairs to get to our rooms were very steep and narrow! It was rather harrowing to get up and down, especially for middle aged folks with luggage!

We had two charming rooms for three people. The attic room that my wife and I stayed in was very large and comfortable, but the second floor room that my sister in law stayed in was very small. It was fine for her, but too small for two people probably. The Blue House was in a great location--so close to many city attractions and restaurants! And we appreciate the coffee and tea in the rooms. Love Bruges!

The hotel is like a horror movie. I entered the hotel using a code and then to the room via a narrow stairs, with no elevator and no lights i was using mobile light until I reached the room. The room was tidy and clean, but I did not feel safe, especially the room key was on the door, meaning that anyone could enter the room. There was also a silence, no one’s voice, It was really terrifying. I couldn’t stay and left the hotel and went to another hotel and paid again because I did not feel safe, l’m alone lady, they didn’t mention that it’s not a hotel it’s guest house, with no reception.

The climb up the staircase with the suitcase was a challenge. But quite funny. Having a small fridge in the room for Belgium Beer and Milk would of made perfection even more perfect.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable and with everything on your doorstep. We used the Super market 50 meters away for breakfast snacks and nibbles and ate in different restaurants over the road each evening. Not forgetting the ice cream and waffles to finish the day.....loverly.

The place isn't really a hotel, it's a few en suite rooms with no facilities or reception. This wasn't a huge problem but not the impression the listing gave. The bed was big but not super comfortable, rather saggy. The water pressure in the shower room isn't great but ok. We were messaged the day before we left asking if we could check out an hour early because of cleaner availability. This didn't work with our plans so we kept to the original time. We were in the final throes of packing at the checkout time when the owner knocked frantically on the door and came in telling us we had to be out in 5 minutes as the next guests were waiting outside, and she then threw our valuables including a camera and a laptop off the bed. This was all rather alarming and a very stressful end to a delightful stay in Bruges. It was also not great to be asked if we could leave early for spurious reasons: clearly it wasn't about cleaner availability but to make room for another guest coming early.

The location is fantastic. The room is very charming and spacious, and the bed is huge. Fantastic views across the roofs from the veluxes in the bedroom.

close to the city centre, beautiful room, nice bulding, great breakfast served in front of the room, clean. Hair dryer, cotton pads, body lotion, shampoo and shower gel included. I had a health issue and the lady during the breakfast helped me, it was great, great experience
