The coffee facilities in the room were limited, with only a few coffee pods provided. The bathroom was somewhat outdated.

The room was quite spacious, with comfortable, large beds, and it was very clean. Having a door to the terrace to let our dog out was especially convenient.

Service in the Nest on Sunday night was virtually non existent. Atrer 30 minutes we had only been given our menus. No drinks, no orders taken. We left! We were very well served in the bar outside.

Le Jardin Restaurant was excellent. Room was spacious and well designed. Staff, with the exception of the Nest on Sunday, we very helpful.

We had an executive room. Bright led lights on terrace made it difficult to sleep. Also the fitting of the lamp next to bed was detached from furniture and electric wires were exposed. We got a 20% discount on room rate, which was correct.

We had a family gathering in the Jardin pavilion for 60 guests. Food and wine was top, everything as we wished. A big thank you!

Room was a little dated for the price and beds were to soft. The bath was much smaller than in the pictures. No balcony as bud more a fire escape route open to everyone without privacy

I only have a remark about the restaurant; They made several mistakes in our order, forgot our appetizers, mixed the side dishes and the sauce and got our drinks wrong. But I guess it just wasn't their best night :P

Gave a score of 9/10 as for second year running building works going on during our stay and mess in hallways wasn't ideal. As the hotel isn't cheap (especially dinner, which is pricey and slightly odd menu compared to what we would be used to in the UK) it's a disruption that has impact on overall experience. Fingers crossed all finished by next year.

We love this hotel and stay every August. The facilities are excellent (the pool, spa and kids play area are top quality) and the breakfast buffet exceptional value for money. We were upgraded to the new rooms, which have been really well done. To be fair, the older rooms are still great. Coffee machines in room are a great luxury touch. Staff are always helpful and courteous.

You can hear a lot of the noise outside, despite the heavy door. Not the hotel’s fault if people are lingering in the hallways but it was very annoying.

We were not informed prior to arrival that there was extensive refurbishment work being undertaken on one of the bedroom blocks. The work didn't affect our stay but this was an unprofessional oversight on the part of the hotel - the drainage work associated with this refurbishment may have been the source of our smell. As a consequence of the refurbishment work we were given a 'sorry' card that entitled us to free coffee. We had breakfast included in our hotel costs and there were coffee making facilities in our room. Thus, in reality, this was a hollow and unused gesture on the part of the management,

The room was very good - albeit there was a bit of a smell when one first entered and that sometimes lingered. We couldn't ascribe this smell to anything in particular - drains, the bathroom or an external source. It was a little off-putting. We were visiting relatives nearby and thus we only slept and had breakfast in the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent and, couldn't be bettered for choice, quantity or quality.
