Ventilation in the bedroom lacking - inner courtyard facing so no window. A fan was supplied by the hotel once concern raised which helped Breakfast varied but given it was just after Christmas understandable

This is a classic early XX century hotel located on the very main square. I stayed in the huge shared room for 12 people,, but for the most part I was alone. The bed was comfortable and the shared bathroom was good. There's a refrigerator inside. I loved working in the restaurant area, where they serve a great breakfast included in the price. I also had lunch there for a reasonable price. Overall I recommend this if you want to avoid the noise in the party-oriented hostels that are also in the area.

The sockets had oversized holes for my electronic devices. For the most part I was able to fiddle with the chargers to get it to work for some of my electronics like my phone but it would not work at all for my laptop so I had to leave the hotel when it was dying.

This place far exceeded my expectations. I found a deal and thought that it would be a place with the basic needs of a traveller but it was a beautiful spot. The hotel is old, so it can look a bit tired in areas but it was very clean and very comfortable and incredibly spacious. I ended up in a very nice room with two floors, a bed and bathroom on each floor! The open area for sitting is like an indoor courtyard and was beautiful to relax in, the pool was small but a nice temperature, and the dining area was large with a very tasty breakfast. Breakfast included cereal options, breads, fruits, cheese and deli meats, yogurt, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It was very good. The wifi was good and I was able to do a lot of my work online while there but the sockets didn't work very well, they were too loose for most of my devices, which was frustrating. I ended up going to a cafe nearby to be able to charge my laptop. Despite the socket issue I would still recommend the hotel, it was very nice and the staff are lovely. I was leaving for two nights and the hotel was happy to keep my bags there safe for me until I returned. The location is right across from the main square and is walking distance to all the highlights of the city, it also means that there is something going on every day whenever you leave the hotel. It's quite the exciting area. Definitely would recommend staying here.

a little bit lonely and not many travelers in the hostel. no hang out area and almost no chance to meet other travelers while staying in the dorm.

Everything was perfect in our one night stay. They even let us check in way earlier than the time online. The room was exactly like in the pictures and opened up in a very pretty atrium. Clean and nice facilities. Location perfect.

I booked „the last bed“ in the ten bed doorm and ended up beeing the only one in it..?! it was nice but also a little bit creepy.

The size if the room was good and staff was friendly and helpful. After a night bus they let us check in into the room a lot earlier

Bathroom lighting is poor. The room was overbooked. Breakfast was the worst during my month-long trip - stale bread and nothing fresh. Eating are was filthy and needed repair. Room has wallpaper from the 70s that had splices removed. Furniture was mismatched. Gaps between the tiles where grout was missing had turned black. No functioning exercise equipment, no safe.

Nice sized bathroom with terrific shower. Beds are comfortable. WiFi work excellent. Hotel entrance is secure. It's near all the attractions for the historical area of Sucre. Many restaurants nearby. Nice fridge

I did not like that the swimming pool was not working. We did not enjoy swimming during our stay.

Breakfast was fair enough, it had a bad juice the first day but they changed it in the second day of our stay.
