The building is old, as mostly in the area. Common areas are also limited.

Location is very good, within walking distance to Pelourinho. The property is simple but offers enough for a comfortable stay for one or two days. The breakfast was very good!

Location is all! Very close to Elevador Lacerda, Pelourinho and praça Castro Alves. Really central. Nice private sunset spot on hotel’s terrace

The furnitures and accessories of thre rooms are very old and must be renovated. Towels, shampoo and toilet paper are not very good quality The breakfast could be better with more choices

There is a lounge next door, it can get loud but they finish relatively early and you also get to get in for free.

Old building gives it a nice touch, colonial style, well maintained and clean. Breakfast was amazing and with a great view. Location is fantastic, and staff was very helpful and kind, they helped us bring the luggages up and down the stairs.

The sea view room is small and anyone standing on the public terrace can look into the room if the curtains are open So I had to avoid opening the curtains and not really use the sea view Fortunately I was not in the room a lot

This place is located in the heart of Pelourinho and I arrived on the last day of Carnival and it felt like I've landed in the biggest Bloc party in Brazil just steps away from my room The whole building feels old but maintained and very noticeable when locking the door as the key turns the other way

Breakfast was ok Pousada is on the first floor so from the street there is just a door (maybe locked so press the bell and wait for door to buzz) with a sigh saying Chile. Nothing much to look at from outside but soon as you walk upstairs you will be surprised. Someone came at once and carried my bag for me. Reception at the top and was met by smiling George. Excellent welcome and he gave me all the info I required without asking. My bag was then carried upstairs to my room. There is no lift. Rooms are large and have everything you need. The pousada is on the edge of the Historic area (by the square within 5 minutes). With the area being on a hill you get excellent view of the ocean from the breakfast room. I recommend this Pousada. Quite noisy.

We had to stay only for one night and leave very early in the morning: we chose the hotel for the convenient location and competitive price for quality. The rooms are minimal but that was what we were looking for. Cleaning was ok, the staff was heplful. We left too early to try the breakfast.

Breakfast was good but there were limited options. The hotel is in an amazing historic building and a slightly better offering would have made a big difference to the experience.

Location was perfect and made it easy to visit everywhere on foot. The view to the bay is spectacular.

Staff appeared quite monotone, didn't give much of themselves. Clearly there's been put a lot of effort into taking really good photos, which did not match the room I checked into in any way

Clean room, very hot shower (too hot really), nice breakfast with many options. Also the breakfast hall is really nice and has a spectacular view of the Port of Salvador This is the kind of place at which when you arrive (in your room, you get the feeling of "ah, this wasn't like the photos".. and later you realize that even so, it isn't too bad. It's clean and tidy everywhere. But it lacks life, soul. Both in the physical spaces and in the staff Totally okey for a shorter stay of one or two nights

Great breakfast, very nice staff. The location is awesome and the view from the room was the best. The building is old and inspiring. It was a great option!

The hotel is very old, you can see that from the furniture, windows and doors. The room is very simple, but good enough with airco, tv and frigobar. The breakfast was ok, not many options and very average quality. Staff was a bit pushy to buy the transfer with him. It seems like there's lack of maintenance in general.

Good if you need a 1-night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The view for the breakfast was nice too.
