Bath Towels... OMG, what a negative point. I was born and raised in Blumenau and have worked for a couple of Textile mills in the city - which are the top 5 in the country - Let me share a little secret... the woven labels have a date on the back side... that's the "manufactured date" - some towels have 05/18 - others 09/20 and so forth... but on the last towel change we got a hand towel dated 06/13 !!! I'm sorry Gloria Hotel, but a 11 year old towel does not look good for you. Towels were stiff/ dry / no loop... some were so beat up that you could see thru... they all felt like sandpaper. Don't be cheap. Buy new towels and have them changed every 2 years at least !!!

Staff is awesome (shout out to Christian) and breakfast very good as well. Location is very convenient but parking may be tricky.

Rooms were comfortable but fairly basic.

Wonderful breakfast, lots to choose from. Fantastic selection of breads and cakes from the Cafehaus as well. Centrally located, with many bars and restaurants behind the hotel. Around a 30 min walk to Vila Germanica, or 5 min drive. A lovely old world atmosphere and German decor upon entering the hotel. Good air conditioning in the rooms.

Checkin took very long and receptionist was not very helpful. He said that they had a problem with the room allocation and that we would have to change the room after one night. We did not accept that and they resolved it.

the door to enter the shower is right in front of the shower head water shoots out to the floor outside the bath when your trying to get the water to the right temperature.

Great stay at Hotel Gloria! Breakfast was amazing! Staff, there is so Welcoming very helpful and friendly! The room was clean and the bed was great. Perfect location to as you can walk around to Bar just a few blocks away! Definitely would stay again.

The elevators were kind of old and not linked to each other so it was a little difficult to go up to the room. The room was also very small compared to a typical hotel room.

The breakfast was amazing! The location was fantastic. It was very convenient to have the parking lot at the hotel too. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
