It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel to me. The bathroom in our room even though functional was very basic and outdated. Quite small lift. The hotel seems to have been maintained (repaired as required) from when it was first built. However it would benefit from a full refurbishment and modernisation at this point in my opinion. Still very popular with the guests though.

The team and service were outstanding! They go above and beyond to accommodate guest requests. All friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Lots of varieties, including local cuisine which was a great opportunity to try new things. We also enjoyed having breakfast by the pool. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We slept super well during our stay. Beautiful view from the balcony! Internet signal in the room was great. There are restaurants, bars, supermarket and pharmacy all close by.

The hotel is a little old and need some renovation, but all in all this didn't bother us.

Location was great, right in front of the beach and easy access to walk around Barra Beach and light house. Beds were comfortable, breakfast very complete, staff was always very helpful. The pool was also great.

There was water maintenance for which we were properly notified but after the maintenance brown water came out of the taps and there was no hot water

I appreciate the local cuisine but the breakfast could include healthier options. There could be more fruit, non-dairy milk, berries, etc.

The hotel is very well located with plenty of options nearby (restaurants, shops, cafes, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc). The beach is nice and vibrant. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Just the breakfast we expected more, mainly with the Bahia food, which is really rich. In general it was very good and it could be improved for sure.

Fantastic location in an area that is both safe and beautiful. There are lots of shops, bars, restaurants and things to see and do nearby. The pictures of the pool don't do it justice as it is much bigger than I'd thought. There's a plentiful range of choice for breakfast with different options on rotation all of which were interesting and good quality.the room was excellent and well worth the premium for the sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean.

Despite being on a third floor and since public smoking is allowed in Brazil, at nigh some non-volunteering second hand smoking from the street happened, through the shower fixed open window system.

Across a nice, lively the beach. Nice swimming pool area. Good breakfast. Next to plenty of eateries and convenient stores. Short ride to historic downtown.

There was only one tiny elevator to use. If there are 4 people in it, you are directly in each other's faces.
