The shower could be more powerful, but then again… the island doesn’t have much infrastructure

The room was fantastic, the staff was great and there are loads of cats in the island, with 3 or 4 staying in this Pousada, so that was a major bonus!

Our stay was incredible. The hotel is super sweet with its many flowers and trees, also the room is lovely. Taking the breakfast inside this jungle ambiente was a great experience! Totally worth the 3 minutes walk from the main roads.

We liked everything. It could be a problem if you are sick or restricted in your agility since the last 200m to arrive to the pousada are very steep but that is not a problem at all if you are fit

Just the rooms are a bit small.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Albatroz! The hotel is a bit of a climb from the center of Abraão, but because of that you are in a very quite environment where you’ll only here birds and crickets. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and I found the property to be even more beautiful than on the pictures.

Perfect place !!! We loved it! Reception was always very nice and helpful and had lots of recommendations. The breakfast was way more than standard- super delicious and healthy options! :) (+cake ;) Our room was cozy, clean and beautiful. Hammock on the balcony! + View from the room +Filtered Water out of the tap 🚰

If the weather is bad, like in our case, heavy rain dring long periods of time, the location does not provide lot of space to hang around. The veranda of the chalet is hit by rain so its not an option for everyone. The room is quite narrow so the bed is only accessible from one side. Bit the complaints are at a high level :-) in general it's a good place to stay.

Breakfast was very good, always fresh cakes and fruits. I liked especially the scrambled eggs made of real eggs, rather than tetrapacked ones.

Walking up the hill when returning home gets quickly old. The reduced size of the cabin.

We stayed 5 days in September 2023 at the Pousada Albatroz. Initially only for three days through Booking, we extended our stay and also stayed one night in a (noisier!) bunk room in the main building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Locationwise, the site sits on an ascending, cobblestoned path, 5-10m on foot outside of the main town, so prepare for a bit of suffering, especially if you have suitcases ;-) Our cabin was small and basic, but OK, with a hot shower, wifi and A/C. The breakfast buffet was extensive and in general it's a quiet place. Big plus is the drinkable, filtered tap water!

From the minute we arrived the owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The property is like it’s own little oasis, the walk is not that far at all really no issue :) everything was nicely finished and good quality and breakfast was great we felt very comfortable and at peace! Thank you

Nothing to say here. Everything is excellent.

The breakfast was superb; the staff very helpful and friendly; the rooms very clean, quiet and airy; our veranda marvelous with its stupendous view of the nearby verdant mountain. The owner Bruno and his partner Leticia were very kind and welcoming. This was my second visit in two years. I hope to make it back in the near future for a third. Surrounded by tropical forest and beautiful plants at Pousada Albatroz, it is easy to believe that you have found Paradise on Earth.

The only complaint I have this that I need to leave 😜

Gorgeous, green, and welcoming! It’s a micro-village of love in the middle of paradise. I felt genuine kindness and warmth from everyone working here. There are palm trees and hammocks everywhere. Breakfast was delicious, served in the beautiful common space that’s covered but still open. And they have a water filter, so even the tap water is drinkable. Albatroz is the only place I’ve seen this so far in Brazil.

The room is a bit small and smelled a bit humid, but for a short stay it is fine. The bathroom is really pretty.

- very steep hill to reach hotel (but you can pay 40 real for help from the harbour) - very small room and little place to put your cl9thes and bathroom things But for the price, those are little things and it worth going there !

Loved everything about this Posada. If I come back to Ilha Grande, I'll stay here again. 100% recommend it!!!
