Own ensuite room set in a cute garden plus a nearby shared kitchen and lounge with a well equiped kitchen and everything worked. Ricky lives on site and runs a shoo next door. Very freindly and knowledgeable and cold beers 5metres away!

Comfy beds ( I slept in a 4 bed dorm), the owner is the nicest person and so helpful with every question you can have. There's coffee in the morning and a kitchen facility that can be used all day. And the custest ever two little dogs!

Nice quiet town, great for the Lamanai river tour. Above all, Ricky and his staff and dogs were so nice it made the stay a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

A small (maximum 10 people) hostel very close to the bus terminal and downtown. Ricky is a friendly and obliging host, and can arrange local tours snd onward travel for you,5 The relaxed ambience at the hostel means it's easy to get to know other guests and share information. Even though the buildings are a little old and rough-around-the-edges, everything you need is there and functions well... just don't expect luxury and glamour. We enjoyed our 10 stay.

The lush green plants add privacy, and also noise and heat reduction. The pretty lighting at night, on site. I liked that it was set away from the street. The thick towels. The owner was very helpful and understanding with all sorts of requests. We did a Lamanai day trip and it was easy to arrange through Ricky and we went as a small group from the Lamanai Ecotours site . Large TV in room, own fridge, en-suite bathroom. Lots of little shops nearby for basics. Large kitchen fitted out to make a meal. Very nice filter coffee. The two friendly little dogs were a delight to have around.

Conveniently located next to bus station and to the centre. Staff is very welcoming and responsive. Don't expect a fancy hotel but something practical, clean and with good vibes.

Lucky enough to be the only guest when I stayed! The kitchen area is huge and very well equipped. Ricky and Irani are the best hosts ever and very knowledgeable. They gave me lots of tips on where to go and not to go, bus schedules etc. There is a wee shop that they run too so they were able to help me with a SIM card, data etc. Cute dogs, and I discovered the turtles on my last day!

The location was great, only 4 minutes walk from the bus station. The proprietor was very helpful and was on hand to answer any questions and offer advice. It was possible to book a Lamanai tour with him.

We stayed one night and do the Lamani ruins tour - owner can arrange it. We had private room with private bathroom. Room was very clean and comfortable. There is sitting infront of the room, hamakas in the garden. Shared equipped kitchen. In the morning you can take coffee for free. All day there is refill of water. And I forgot mention, 2 cute dogs of the owner. Owners were really nice.

There are only two bathrooms - one near the rooms, and one by the kitchen which is downstairs and not a walk you'd want to do in the rain. This is just something to note.

This is a lovely hostel. Ricky is so nice and friendly, and his two pups are adorable. The kitchen is really well-stocked and a pleasure to use. There's water for refills, and the bed is really comfy.

As with most shared kitchens, it’s probably due a deep clean.

Really friendly hostel, Ricky is incredibly helpful and can sort anything out for you. There are lots of hang out areas and a nice communal kitchen/dining room/sofa area. Short walk to supermarkets. We booked the Lamani tour through Ricky and that was great. Excellent little dogs! It’s the perfect spot to enjoy Orange Walk.
