How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's a wooden lodge style building so can be incredibly hot when the sun is shining for a period of time.
Staff were helpful and kindly moved us rooms to one with a balcony at a discount. Bed was incredibly comfortable and pool/hot tub was very nice. The restaurant on site is good. Rooms came with fans (no a/c)

We were in a lower level room right up the end of one of the wings. this was ok until we started hearing water etc from the units above rushing through the wall right next to the main bed. I actually sounded like a burst pipe following like a waterfall. I'm unsure if this would apply to other rooms.
Great location, clean and well presented for its age. hot tub and indoor pool were good. Kitchen in the room was great, everything you need.

No complaints
I like the location. It’s peaceful and quiet at night, but close enough to downtown so it’s easy to get to the restaurants and shops. I like the rooms, they’re clean and comfortable.

Spacious room with a large bathroom. Nice with the small kitchen area always filled up with coffee and tea. The balcony was big with a view to the mountains and sun during the afternoon

Pool and restaurant are in separate buildings, therefore, in winter, it makes it a little less convenient. No air conditioning, so in summer, it could be hot. They charge an upfront damage deposit when you check in, which I see is becoming more common, but it was not noted at time of booking. After checking out, they did reverse the damage deposit charge within 4 days.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was good. Nice outdoor areas for bbq or relaxing outside. Convenient location for walking up town, yet far enough away from main street to keep it quiet and peaceful.

Stayed on loft suite. Safety hazard as no railing on stairs. Small children could easily fall and hit head on tile. Bathroom door very dirty. Need more seating for 4 adults. Need bigger glasses for drinks

It could do with a few extra basics in the kitchenette, eg. spatula, small sharp knife, a salad bowl. We managed by making a salad in a saucepan. The bed didn't have a fitted bottom sheet which we are not used to, and we found that annoying.
Loft apartment was a good size for two and convenient to have the kitchenette. Location was good and was on the shuttle run to Marmot Basin which was perfect for us. The pool, hot tub and sauna area was excellent.

The room was comfortable and the kids loved the pool. The laundry facilities are a bonus. The parking area is on the small side; having ski lockers was useful and the location is good to walk to restaurants to avoid parking issues in town.

The toilet paper toll is behind you so it's awkward. They still have cable TV which sucks. Also no a/c.
The room layout was amazing! Comfortable, clean, nice kitchenette options.

The kitchen in the room was great. Perfect for making breakfasts and packed lunches. Walking distance from the town center. The cleaning staff did a great job and were very nice.

Cannot think of anything.
I used to stay here with my family when I was a kid. I ended up coming back here to say as it has lots of memories for me. It is still a great place to stay in Jasper. We were in the loft suite and had the fireplace which was nice (you get one log each day which lasts about 2 hours). The pool facility was great (main pool, small kids pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna). The cooking unit was well-stocked so we cooked all of our breakfasts here. It was close to walk downtown and central to access different areas of Jasper. Staff were friendly.
