bathroom door would lock you in - without somebody to free you or without your phone in the bathroom things would have gotten very hairy ... electric appliances and lights were not plugged in, but the empty fridge was, making a lot of noise ... continental breakfast has zero low-carb option, so it's great if you're aiming to be obese, sux if you don't ...

Price was a little high for the room you stay in, but the room and property generally meet expectations and is located in a better area of Bancroft compared to the only other motel.

Room was adequate, staff were friendly and accommodating. Property is located near all amenities, including grocery, gas, "window" shopping, and some nearby parks.

I was sad the spa was closed. it would have been nice to access the pool earlier in the morning. freezing cold in the bathroom/changing rooms next to pool. It was slightly confusing to get to the room- would be nice to have more signage outside. no picnic tables in the back area/playground to sit and eat outside- its so pretty back there! Coffee tasted like water and fresh fruit had got bad.

Very clean and spacious room. Nice bathroom, with tub :)! There was a nice outdoor space, very spacious and green, next to the river and near a park. Location is great, beautiful area. breakfast was decent and much appreciated, the yoghurt and waffles were the best part! Pool was clean and spacious. Small clean sauna was a lovely surprise. Pet friendly and welcoming.

I love the cabana, but can't always afford it. I thought the room (124) was small for the price. Comfortable yes, could have had a second chair to sit in other than the office chair. I just feel that it's very pricey for the size of the room. My husband is 6 feet tall. He had to sleep on an angle. It was not a Queen bed.

I always stay here. As a child, the owners would send their overflow of guest to my parents lodge. I have history here. My picture is on the office wall with my parents.

The room had some bad smell but we kept the windows open and it was better that way.

The location is perfect, right next to the river and park and very close to some stores and restaurants. Our room was clean and had everything as advertised. The continental breakfast was good.

Our room on this visit was a little older than the other times we've stayed here, but it was clean and adequate. We liked that it had ots own entrance and we could park right outside our room - some of the other rooms have a shared lobby entrance.

Breakfast was continental. Pool was great as was the sauna and games room (pool table). The hot tub was closed for repairs.

Easy to locate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The check in and out process was great. Facilities are dated but very clean. It met all my needs.

Rooms were a little dated, the bathroom tiny, but all was clean and functional. Breakfast was limited but did the job.

Easy to find, rooms were clean, shower was good, slept well, nice grounds. It was good to have a fridge and a microwave in the room. Unfortunately didn't get to use the sauna and pool as we just stayed overnight.

The pillows could've been more comfortable and when we opened the door to get in the room there was a particularly noticeable humidity odour which was rather unpleasant.

For the price the quality was very adequate. Breakfast was included, the bed was comfortable enough. Location is sort of in the middle of nowhere but if you just need to stop on your way this will do just fine.

Pool was cloudy, and unsure if it was filtering. as well as unsure if the chemical readings were correct. Hot tub was not working. BBQ was a little deteriorated spark to ignite was not working and the jets for the flames (burner) were plugged.

The property needs quite some renovation, the breakfast was a bit basic. Overall, the price of stay given the condition of the property is a bit too high.

The staff was welcoming, the room was OK. The Inn is positioned very well, in the middle of the town. The room was generally clean, equipped with basics.

Paint was peeling in the pool and the hottub was not functional. The room was too small for the furnishings.

Wonderful service! Great breakfast! Room was clean and we enjoyed the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The water pressure was good and the beds were very comfy! I enjoyed the pool a lot!

Nice big room for an overnight stay. Very quiet. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard in the games room too. A kind and accommodating staff.
