Having to move room to room to room

That was my first anniversary and we switched rooms three times before we got a room. My floor was loud as can be all night long. I’ll never forget the first anniversary that’s for sure

Unfortunately, our recent stay at Travelodge Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. It was hands down the worst travel experience we've ever had. Upon checking into our room, we were greeted with a sight of dirty clothes left in the drawer from the previous guest—a clear indication that cleanliness was not a priority. We requested a room change, only to discover that the mattress in the second room was broken beyond repair. Moving on to the third room, we encountered yet another issue—the door key didn't work. The lack of basic amenities such as fridges and microwaves was also disappointing. To add insult to injury, we were forced to rent an outdated fridge from the hotel. The list of grievances doesn't end there. The room was devoid of a TV remote, and when one was finally provided, the TV had no channels. Broken fixtures, dirty sinks, a hair dryer not working, and other maintenance issues plagued the room, creating an atmosphere of discomfort and dissatisfaction. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was shockingly rude. Instead of addressing our concerns with empathy and professionalism, we were met with hostility. The final straw came when, at 11 p.m., we were informed that there were no available rooms and were offered a refund and the cancellation of our booking as a solution. Overall, our experience was nothing short of a disaster. We urge future guests to reconsider staying here unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and the staff's attitude towards customer service. the guy who checked us in told us about the breakfast. the next morning it was nothing like he said it was. no sugar for coffee. no juice or milk to drink. no cereal, no fresh fruit besides bananas, no waffles, only pastries was packaged muffinis. i dont drink coffee/tea and either do my kids. had to go to stop and get some food to eat and drink. found garbage in my room, only 2 towels in a room the has 3 beds and 5 people. pinball machine was not working. when asked the front desk for my $$ back they said it was not their problem.

It was not very clean. Wouldnt take a shower. One lamp for lighting and it wasa switch on the wall by the door. Had to flush a few times to have things go down. Couldn't watch t.v. it was all snowy. Also a queen room would expect a queen sized bed at least. I will never go back. I'm sure under new management cause went there a few times before I the past and it was nothing like that. A new TV in the room, but neither I nor hotel staff could get it to work. Table in room was excessively wobbly, curtains were not hooked on to curtain rod, nightstand light bulb not working, no plug in sink, big potholes in parking lot, no ice machine close to room, $10 fee to park.

The broken bed, the bed rails protruding and covered with bed skirt. The broken phone. Tv didn’t work other then “snow”. No ice available. Staff didn’t seem to care about any of the problems. It was horrible. It is sad how terribly they are running that hotel.

The property under construction sort of, parking lot full of potholes, the bed frame is poor building of 2x4 the room windows about to fall apart, the construction workers bad behaving arund the pool area, the hotel refused to make full refund for the 2 nights they approved one night and have not received any money yet

*sigh* Where to start? Between the tension at check in, the place being not very welcoming to LGBTQ people and the general fear between the blood stains, the mold, the crime scene and the dog crawling at me while giving birth in the parking of the motel leaves somewhat a bad aftertaste! Let say I prefer not to answer!

That I was one of the lucky people that was able to get his deposit back. Read the comments, double check which Google comments, check if the name of the place changed his name recently, read the old comments, stay aware.

Absolute nightmare. The room that was promised was not available even though we spoke directly with the hotel 3 times before and after booking. Chose this place specifically for the balcony that was promised. We arrived at 1830, and room not ready. Hadn’t been cleaned. Offered us alternate room without balcony, of which we had to take because we were travelling with our pet and no other hotels nearby were pet friendly. Other room given had a broken jacuzzi, and we were moved to yet another room. That room had cigarettes on the floor and cocaine in the nightstand. Also, no heart shaped jacuzzi. Hotel offered our original room next morning….also not until 1030, of which had no wifi and we had to move rooms for a third time. I informed them I did not expect to pay for that room the first night as we were repeatedly promised directly from the hotel to be in a room with a balcony. Even the original room booked had no such balcony, just an outdoor entrance. We were told there was nothing they could do about the charge bc I had booked through your website. I have shuffled all my belongings and my pet 3 times. This is insanity. Breakfast that was included was a joke, there was one bagel available that looked like it was from last year and the front desk clerk was also the breakfast server and had to shuffle between clients checking in and others eating.

We were almost attacked by a dog coming off the elevator. The bagles and English muffins sere.so hard they made noise. Nonice machine was working. Dead flies in the window sills, broken thresholds to the rooms, horrible experience

The room was filthy. Hair and dirt in beds, urine and hair on the floors in the bathroom, shower curtain yellow with nicotine stains, floors were dirty, hairy and sticky, mirrors and bathroom vanity were disgusting (a prescription label was dried on vainty from previous guests), no security lock on the door, other guests were loud and smoking pot around us. We had staff come to the room 3 times, and had no improvement. Breakfast was a joke (no toaster for bagels, told to use a microwave that was sitting on a dirty chair across the room and yogurt that expired the next day). We had a bag stolen from us. We were offered free $7 parking for our terrible experience. This place ruined our Christmas vacation.

The place is a dive with rooms rented to hookers. The rooms are outdated falling apart and are dirty. The tvs are not working and when you call the front desk they lie to you. Pays for a kind bed got twin . Will never go back more comfortable sleeping in my car.

The hotel wasn't maintained, the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. There were people smoking at their doors because the rooms were accessible from the parking lot. We got a call at 5:30 am from another room, a stranger was threatening us to not buy his dog. My kids got scared so we had to leave the hotel right away. It was a bad experience for us and we would never go back.

The hotel had a pool it wasn't the greatest but it was ok for the kids.

There was no parking but we had to pay for parking. We were told they would wave the charge since we didn’t have a working remote control for the tv but it wasn’t waved. The female staff member at the front desk was rude and dismissive. They also wouldn’t give us a second key even though our party had 4 people. We switched rooms because the first one didn’t have a working toilet or blankets on the bed. We should get a full refund because I don’t know what we even paid for. I’ve stayed in Wyndham hotels all over the world so thought this was a safe bet. I was wrong.

When I booked I was told there was an inside pool, I paid and extra $100 dollars for the pool, since I was traveling with my daughter and grandson. When we checked in I was first told that they just drained the pool that afternoon, then told that it was drained a few days ago, The website did not mention that the inside pool was drained. Since the only reason I booked that particular hotel was because of the pool, needlessly to same I was extremely disappointment and upset that it was not mentioned on the website, The bathroom, sink had cracks and the towels where extremely thin, there coffee cups and ice bucket where missing, If I had wanted a hotel with no pool I would of booked one and a much lower cost. I shall also be directly reaching out the the manager of the hotel along with the head office.
