The heat in the room did not seem to work well. It felt like cold air from our side was being pulled in. The bathroom heater helped and a blanket at night made it feel like camping outside! We were fine with this but the room system should be checked.

The room was very clean and modern. Very quiet location, off the main road with a beautiful forested area across from the room. The picture is accurate. The hotel provides free bus passes so you can avoid parking challenges in downtown Banff.

The reception is away in another hotel, as well as all the services like the spa, sauna, and restaurant. It is quite far a walking distance from the center.

The room was clean, with good appliances for making tea and coffee. They kept out luggage in the locker the last day. They had a free pass for the busses (which we had however to ask for, they didn't offer it).

I really enjoyed staying in a superior room on the main floor. It is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. You can use the hot pool and the sauna at the Caribou Lodge and they also give you a local transit pass during your stay.

The key card system was a real issue, they repeatedly disconnected. The only remedy was to go back to the reception at the Caribou hotel, which after a long day out is really a pain. We were given a number of different reasons for this occurrence, mobile phones, zips on clothing, coins in pockets, how exasperating is that!! best go out naked. I put the key card down the side of my sock so as to keep it away from all the above, made absolutely no difference. I suggest you either get protective sleeves or have proper keys for the doors. Ap

There was a bag of garbage at the top of the stairs spilling out . We had to walk around chicken bones etc to get to our room. Bins were filled with laundry next to the stairs. It seems like some dropped everything and left...not the nicest welcome. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed the room. It was spacious, well decorated and comforatble. I like that the coffee in the room came from Evelyn's on main street in Banff and the soap was from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company. With th covered bike racks and a complimentary bike pump and repair stand, this is a great option for cyclists, expecially if cycling fromo Jasper to Banff.

Shower stall is small and if you don't pay attention shower door will deip water onto floor while showering. Pool in another building which is a bit too far to walk back in the winter.

The room and location were perfect. We checked in at Caribou Lodge and Spa. Apparently you can use the hot tub located at Caribou Lodge which is a nice bonus.
