We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaI searched for a hotel with a pool and complimentary breakfast and the site said it was included. I booked for 2 adults and 3 children. When I checked in, I was told that only 2 adults were included. I had to buy breakfast for the three children. Although the staff was friendly and the rooms decent, I will book something with breakfast included for all next time.

CanadaIt was very hard to find any information about the restaurant. I think, also, because the hotel has a new name and is being renovated, it leads to some confusion. Door Dash couldn't find us. The sign outside should say Crown Plaza. The restaurant is not very inviting and once I found a menu the prices seem a bit steep in comparison with other similar hotel restaurants. The hot tub is a nice touch but not really hot and quite small. The pool is nice.
I found the main areas of the hotel very clean. Plus the room was quite tidy as well. The property had a pool and hot tub. There was a restaurant on site. There is a games room. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The bedding was fluffy, white and clean. There was a safe, fridge and mini keurig in the room. No microwave but the staff offered to bring one up. Staff went out of their way and were appreciative of compliments. When we were put in a room without a Harbour View , which we had reserved, they apologized, switched us to a Harbour View on a higher floor and have us 2 complimentary drink tickets at the bar within the restaurant.

CanadaWe were blessed with amazing weather. The hotel was beautiful, clean and modern. The view of the harbour is picturesque and stunning. We went to the Family entertainment centre and got to see who the bowling champion was. We will definitely be back.

CanadaWhen I walked through the doors I was aw struck. The lobby and the entire building is beautiful. I stayed here in 2016 and the hotel was very different. The restaurant is now more upscale and the food is AMAZING.

CanadaElevator stopped working. Had to use the fire exit stairs. Hard with 3 kids and having back issues. No signs or anything letting people know, just a elevator that didnt work. Pillow case in our room had orange/yellow stains on it. Was hair in the bath tub. Jets in the hot tub didn't work.. went for birthday supper at the on site restaurant, they didnt have my first option whch was steak, nor did they have chicken parmagani, or draft beer. Cost us.+ $160 for our meal for 2 adults and 3 kids. entertainment center had multiple things not working. Worker didn't know how to turn black lights on for mini golf. Bowling pins would only put half down at a time. bought a braclet for a hour and a half of whatever you wanted to do, but was told we couldnt use bumper cars anymore becuase there was a birthday party booked. Very inexperienced staff. We always stayed here every visit to st john, which is a few times a year. We were going to try Hamptons Inn this time but I decided to stick with this hotel even after the brand change, but we were let down for sure. We'll definitely be trying something else next time if these issues aren't addressed.

United StatesIn the process of remodeling. Apparently this has been going on for some time. Had an incident where work crew attempted to enter room. Heard a knock on the door with no verbalization of who was at door. Had the Do Not Disturb sign on door, as we were showering and getting dressed. When we did not get to the door fast enough (easily less than one minute), despite calling out to them, "just a second" they used their pass key. Thank goodness we had the latch in place. Felt very violated! This was not an emergent entry. They were testing the fire alarms and could have come back in a few minutes when we were dressed. Told the front desk. Told the front desk our concern and was promised to hear back from management. When we did not hear back, approached the front desk again. While we we given the platitudes of concern, and that management would contact us with follow up, this never occured.
