A little expensive I'd say, and not super central to walk downtown.

The area is residential, quiet and nice to see with lovely houses. Free parking, house is charming, welcoming and full of heart. Decoration is astonishing, bedroom was simple but bed super comfy, kitchen good to cook your own food. Love that you leave your shoes at the entrance it feels like home.

Too many stairs, so try to go with no too much luggage.

Everything was amazing. The hotel is lovely and the castle view is amazing! The best thing out of everything. You will feel like you are in the old times. The room was really clean and spacious. We paid for breakfast and it was worth it.

I liked it all really!

We had a lovely tour from Olga upon arrival, and the bed was comfy. It was easy to access the guest house with the provided code which gave us flexibility.

It's an old hotel, but there are not many extras. Breakfast was good but costs extra (cash only).

It would be nicer experience if the welcoming staff wore something more than a sports bra and a spandex shorts. We felt out of place when we were welcomed like that. Also it would be nice to have a shower hat and a shower gel. No TV - nice for a authentic experience, but super unusual for a hotel. I wish I knew that there is TV in the room ahead of time, and I would have brought a laptop with me.

Location was very nice, close to main attractions, to gas station-if u need to grab smth quick. Gorgeous view, authentic heritage building experience. Breakfast is very nice, breakfast is yummy and great $ value. Place is very clean. Slippers are nice touch too.

This was our second stay at Craigmyle and the experience was very positive, just like our first visit 16 months ago. We stayed in a different room this time, also with a seating area but no window facing the castle, unfortunately. The room has a small kitchenette, with a microwave and a kettle, therefore we did not need to trek down to the common area for hot water. This was a plus. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. It was very quiet at night, although the property looked fully booked - judging from the number of shoes along the hallway …. (No shoes inside the hotel). We would stay again at this property next time we are in Victoria.

Just need to fix one or two of the stairs going down to the lower level. No big deal. It was just a little precarious.

We loved the common area where we played games in the evening and did puzzles together. The location in the quiet neighborhood right next to the castle was perfect.

Room was very hot (even in Winter with the window open). We had no control over room temperature given the historic radiator heating system. Just would not want to stay in summer although they do provide a fan.

Stairs, steps, and more steps and the parking situation is awful. As much as Iiked the accommodations, I know I won't stay there again.

Bed was great. Rooms were well furnished, attractive, and comfortable. The hostesses were very attentive, helpful, and the best at showing us around.

The TV was bizarrely complicated to operate. No one wants that.

The location was fabulous. I loved my cute little suite. Having breakfast at the hotel was just so convenient. Everything was very clean. The person who served breakfast was very kind.

A little hard to find parking . My chief complaint was starting breakfast at 8 am. Too late for me. Especially for coffee.
