The bed was uncomfortable, we had two doubles in our room I booked one queen bed. Not sure why hotel staff did not mention. We did arrive late in evening on check in, did not ask again as desk was busy. Not much room to move around beds to bathroom.

The location was very centric, but Granville Street was very dirty, it had homelessness and drug addicts loitering about. The staff did tell us, when we asked directions not to walk that route to Granville Island, but it was the most direct route. I was also surprised there was no safe in the room.

The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort daily. They texted to make sure we didn’t need anything and supplied what we asked for with pleasure. The facilities were modern, sleek and spotless, the stairwells always smelled clean and the lobby was well cared for making our overall experience superb.

The size of the room was too small especially with two beds. there was no space to put our suitcases. A bit disappointed with one of the reception staff as we got to the hotel slightly earlier, she said she would call us when our room was ready. We were walking around the city and it’s raining, so not ideal. We got back to the hotel at 30 mins before check in, the room was ready, so that was really annoying that we weren’t contacted beforehand.

Inside the hotel was better than the outside. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The room decor was great including the bathroom.

Breakfast was good. You need to have somebody at the door to explain how it all works every single person that we saw come in was confused regarding if it was free or how to pay.

My only suggestion would be to improve door seals, as we got quite a significant draft from all sides, but I managed to fix it relatively quickly with toilet paper. Better insulation is a small investment, but besides better comfort, it will also help with energy savings throughout the building.

Gabriel from the front desk was spectacular. Very knowledgeable and proactively helpful. We got offered a significant upgrade for our family celebration.

No city view (frosted windows). The bath towel had a hair on it. The area is loud and the rooms are not soundproof (you could hear bed squeaking above). The hotel has a nightclub in the basement, so wouldn’t recommend it for the family stay. It’s great if you’re into partying as they let us in for free.

Hotel is very stylish and it is easy to spot the big sign from outside. Location is good if you want to enjoy the nightlife. Free bike rentals (3 hours) but it was raining. Secure free luggage storage. Rooms have AC.

Quite a lot of noise from the busy street out front and the hotel bar – while really cool looking – is *incredibly* overpriced.

Excellent location, close to lots of activity and public transit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, I arrived about 3.5 hours before checkin and they accommodated me anyways!
