No elevators, with an older parent, we were lucky to get our Apartment on Level 1. so you get a workout if you are on higher floors 😊

Mr Gerrard was great. It takes time to warm up to him. Freshly prepared, great breakfast each day ■ Same fare everyday, excellent pancakes and delicious croisants, and was included in the price, therefore, it was convenient as opposed to seeking for breakfast in expensive Quebec city ■Beds were comfy, big sized rooms in the apartment unit compared to Toronto ■ Inexpensive Paid Parking was available thru the App Flowbird (suggested by Gerrard) $34 for 3 days ■ Location was also good 👍🏽

The host was a bit challenging, set in his old school ways. We did not particularly feel welcome & respected as he was very critical of us and our plans for the weekend. . He warmed up to us a bit over the stay but was not ideal.

Decor needs updating. Too much "stuff" in the breakfast room. Needs a deep clean. Breakfast was the same for 5 days. Adequate but boring. Needs protein- either breakfast meat or eggs.

Only minor things. They don't have the toothbrush, the toothpaste and shower cap.

I like the the room and the bed. Clean, comfort, and I can sleep very well. The breakfast was so good with honemade berry jam. I like the croissant and the fresh fruits. The location is only 3 minutes walk fron the train station and 10-15 minutes walk to the tourist attraction such as old port, notre dame basillica, terrace dufferin, fairmont le chateau frontenac, etc.

We arrived too early for check-in and host chided us! But he has a heart of gold, allowed us to leave our luggage and subsequently when we returned for check-in, he has helped brought them up to our room!

Location is great, very near to the train station and to the old city. Room has rustic look with modern amenities. Room is clean and clean towels neatly placed. Breakfast was the same everyday but it was made with love by the host and can see that he is proud of his creation! Love the crepe and fruit bowl which contained numerous type of fruits! Great effort put into our first meal of the day! Host was kind and helpful.

The place is clean but too old. If you like modern places more, you may find them with the same price or even cheaper.

The breakfast was really good and the host was nice. There is a parking nearby with reasonable prices.

An elevator! Two flights of stairs with luggage was a bit of a struggle but no matter it was all great!

The manager was simply amazing, great sense of humour and very informative. He did everything,the breakfast he served was above and beyond many higher rated hotels. Great Quebec hospitality. Loved our very short stay there.

Air conditioning or ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be great! It felt a little warm for us and could not open windows (there were no window screens). Newer kitchen cabinets and appliances would be nice too. Had an old dryer in unit but we didn’t find a washer. A/C in the living area was very high up to adjust temp, but managed just fine with a chair! Bathroom has newer cabinets but walls could be more ambient for future guests. Besides those little things, we had a great stay because of the great location and the wonderful and humorous host!

The location was central and very ideal for our visit. Loved walking to all the attractions nearby in the area. Breakfast was great but could have more options. The A/C was awesome to have in the living area.

For my friend and I, a private shower would have been more appropriate.

Breakfast was nice, mostly carbohydrates with fresh fruit. Coffee was very good. Parking available just one street away, quite reasonable rate if paid by length of stay.

Great location, rustic and budget friendly. The host was helpful and provided a hearty breakfast with good strong coffee. The room with a Murphy bed was perfect for myself and my 14 year old.

- Stiff Stairs: We were lucky we didn't have big luggage (only carry-ons), still didn't expect that. - Pillows are too soft for my preference, same as one of the bedroom mattresses, and the Murphy bed. - The apartment was pretty spacious and can easily have a couch, a sofa, sadly there was nothing but stiff wooden chairs. - There is no Coffee/Tea maker as listed in the description in the room, yet you do have a kettle to boil water if needed.

- The Old style of the building matches the whole "Old Quebec" spirit. - Location: it's a short walk from the Gare (Train Station), and close to everything. - Clean: The Apartment was absolutely tidy, with extra clean towels, napkins. - Breakfast was pretty delicious and tasty. It was prepared on spot with a nice presentation :) - The host was nice and helpful.

TV had limited english channels to watch in evening. But wi-fi worked well.

Breakfast every morning was wonderful & filling. Room was very spacious & clean. Bathroom had a frosted glass window with songbirds that I loved looking at.

location is fantastic! Near bus station from Montreal, able to walk 5 min in the snow. 10 min walk into old town n restaurants. Breakfast was yummy even though it is the same. Good coffee n love the fruit bowl! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious n full kitchen.
