Staff were great, and the room was comfortable and clean. The Thai restaurant was lovely to have right there. It was unfortunate that the sit-down breakfast was not available, but a bagged breakfast was a good substitute.

Great location - right in the Town of Mattawa. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good - some of the best Thai food I have had. The owner was friendly.

Strange experience. Room was nice. The complimentary breakfast was not made at the restaurant. It was packaged microwave food that was put into a brown bag and left in a bar fridge for us to heat up. Disgusting looking! We accidentally forgot a bag with some trivial things in it but received no call or email about it.

Would have been better if there was a gluten-free breakfast option. Kind makes breakfast bars and even the Dollar store has gluten free bites. Decaf coffee and tea would be appreciated. I am paying the same rate as other customers and expect the same services. Couldn't find ice next morning. Would have been nice to know that no-one is around in the morning even at 9am, I could have asked for ice the night before. Shower feature doesn't open fully, 1/2 water flow divided between lower faucet and shower head in room 212.

It was a great location. The room was clean. Had all expected equipment. Bed was super comfortable. Shower stall was well designed. Such a treat to have a Thai restaurant on-site!

In-house food priced high and make sure patrons know about breakfast in fridge. We didn’t get any and reservations stated free breakfast included. Otherwise as mentioned above ( very pleasant stay).

Very friendly Staff, clean rooms, daily room cleaning, visible parking from room. Great location on Main Street accessible to many amenities — beautiful town. In-house Restaurant delicious food, but. $pricey! Would recommend to friends and loved ones. 👍🏻

The rooms are very stuffy, the rooms could use a very good clean up, there’s a lot of dust. The shower floor was dirty & fixtures need a good shine!

The onsite restaurant is closed on Sundays - sadly, I went to the restaurant only to find the doors locked. Supremely disappointed, especially as the restaurant hours are not posted online for potential (overnight) visitors to know when it's closed so we can plan to eat elsewhere. I felt misled by the lack of information about restaurant hours. The "continental breakfast" is not the customary breakie that's set out at other hotels nor B&Bs - this is a bagged meal. 1 fruit, 1 yogurt, 1 juice, and your choice of muffin OR reheatable egg/cheese on English muffin (gross) and that's it. Don't count on being satisfied by the brown bagged stuff - if you don't care about upscale accommodations, do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else to save $27... then use the savings for a tasty morning meal at the Moon Cafe or Myrt's. Only two pillows, one sheet and a comforter on the bed - no extras in the room, so if you need additional bedding, you will need to request it. The window curtains are thin and allow lots of ambient light (street lights) to brighten the room. I couldn't tell if it was 6pm, midnight or 6am with them drawn - and if you open the single-layered curtains, neighbouring buildings have a good view in the room (201) and anyone out on the Voyageurs balcony will also have a great view inside the room.

Superb location in the heart of Mattawa. Easy walking distance to the Moon Cafe, the Mattawa Museum and Explorer's Point Park. The bed was very comfortable. The AC unit in the room, is a little noisy but it works.
