The rooms are not superclean, on the shower curtain there were red marks. The room lacked comfort in general. They were also very outdated and could use some remodeling.

The room was spacious and had all necessary amenities. The location is also beautiful, right in the heart of Parry Sound.

the internet was poor, the rooms could be updated. the service could be a little better. we were told to leave at 11am the day BEFORE we were to leave, which sucked. talked it out and worked through it though.

the rooms were clean, the shower was fantastic, location was perfect for what we were up there for.

No coffee in the room and the ad said there was coffee. Didnt feel secure as front door always open snd no one at front desk to supervise.

Strong smell of cigarettes, I had to go buy air freshener and fabric freshener. Paper thin walls, could hear talking, running water and alarm from next room. Hair dryer didn’t work. Front desk was nice upon welcoming but when there was an issue (our fault and we admitted and apologized) he wouldn’t let it go until I said we would leave right then and there. However when he spoke to my husband, his tone changed and was apologetic. Definitely some gender discrimination. I know in some cultures, women are not regarded at the same level as men, but when you run a business ( motel, definitely not a hotel) you need to treat men and women equally. The website is very misleading, there is no restaurant or air fresheners or coffee makers. Picture of Waubuno beach looks like a tropical island. If you want a cheap, clean place to stay close to attractions then go ahead and book this motel but make sure a male interacts with the front desk. Very disappointed.

#1: No security bolts on doors on the main floor to the reception area and the outside door to the parking lot. > Turning on Micro Wave created a short every time, needed assistance from main office. Fuse problem. > No slip proof mat and handle bar in shower. > Only one chair. Not enough adequate chairs. Needs another table. > The one armchair very used. Not hygienic. > Parking lot needs attention.

I was surprised to hear the train whistle during the night. It's not that I didn't like it .I was just surprised.

We didn't have breakfast at the motel. We like the fact that you accepted the 2 small dogs. They are trained and slept on the floor. We were glad to be at walking distance from the bay. It was good to have a fridge , micro-wave ,and TV.+ AC which worked well.. I enjoyed the bathtub instead of just a shower. The water was nice and warm. The staff was approachable and friendly.

Call bed with rockhard probably going out a better sleep laying on the floor. Unfortunately the real Rogen reindeer by the train woke me up I did not it was a good day.

Wifi didn't work in our rooms, which wasn't a big deal for us. We only needed a place to sleep. Not a luxury hotel but you can tell that by the price.

It is what I was expecting from a budget friendly hotel. The rooms were a bit dated but it was clean and the person at reception (Tony) was extremely nice and accommodating. It was very affordable.

The staff were on drugs. I booked for two days, the second day someone entered into my room and forgot ṭo turn off the light. I asked them about that, and they denied it. So i decided to check out a day early without even asking about the refund.

Adjacent parking lot needs some work. But nice to park at the back door.

A touch of nostalgia: central refurbished mid-twentieth century hotel/motel at the edge of downtown Parry Sound. Large room! Comfortable bed with firm mattress.

Carpet on the floor - just a personal preference

Great value for the price. Clean. Has a hair dryer and a fridge in the room. Has a microwave and a toaster by the hotel entrance. Also a home style coffee maker by the hotel entrance. It was empty, perhaps if we leave later (i.e. after 7am), there may be coffee available. Not sure. Bed on the harder side, buy we didn't mind. We had a comfortable sleep.

Well to start, bed was terrible hard , I woke up sore and stiff . The pillows where cheap and didn't hold any support. Rooms looks like prison cells , this place needs either a dramatic drop in price or a huge renovation and remodel.
