A little mediocre with the cleanliness, live bugs in the cabins and inside every light fixture were a few dead ones . The layout is a little confusing, I'd highly suggest checking in during the staff's working hours for the convenience.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, the location was like something out of a dream. Fire pits were amazing with the free, unlimited firewood provided. The place was stunning and the private grill on each cabin was the cherry on top.

The mosquitoes but obviously not the fault of the facility

My room was accidentally given to someone else but the staff on site was very helpful and very apologetic. They ended up solving our issue and finding an even better accommodation for us. Great service. Great place to stay!

we suggest strongly that the housekeepers use gentle cleaners, not Pinosol. the odor was too strong when we arrived

Could not find the unit number so there was confusion but that was sorted out.

The cabin was clean and the fireplace and view was great, so much better than a hotel room. I could have spent a few months there. I will be recommending to all my friends.

The washroom knob doesn't close the door for windermere cottage in Muskoka waterfront retreat.

Pictures of the cottage were deceiving. Smaller than what we anticipated. Our glassware, cutlery, and dishes were not clean. Needed to be washed . Water pressure was very low, a constant gurgling septic system, causing water to erupt up through toilet throughout the day/night.

The shared space was small for a group of 6, especially while cooking dinner but good for one night.

Somewhere to get firewood for community fire? Fireplace in room - no direction how to use or if allowed? Perhaps is a safety thing?

Light over main door porch was burnt out. No kitchen sink stopper, had to use recycle bin to hold water to wash dishes. Did not want to use dishwasher for the small amount of dishes. Bathroom smelled of mold. Either a leak was not fixed or something has gotten behind or under the floor or wall but it was very noticeable.

Tumble Inn Cabin, great location, wood burning fireplace was great, wi-fi good but pauses occasionally when streaming. Games room in main building was great, pool table getting a bit old, cloth worn, bumpers breaking off small pieces, foosball good, lots of reading materials and games.

The room of the cabin was a bit small, and the ventilation of the room was not great! In addition to that, the water for bathing gets cold after 5 minutes or so.

The location is absolutely beautiful. There is a wide range of facilities for cooking, cleaning, playing!

There was no place to put luggage. Some proper baking dishes would have been helpful.

We liked being close to hiking areas. Rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace. Dishwasher!!! Nice and quiet, felt very private. Staff responded to requests in a timely fashion.

A better quality bathroom with more complete bathing facilities would be better. Cheap shower with no tub….so, so.

I had rented cottages a year ago, this time i rent a studio which was much better, and less humid, A/C need to be replaced but rest was OK

The beach location is awesome, the property is short walking distance to grocery store and Coffee shop, Property purchase a couple of new canoe and added jet sky to rent. The BBQs were renewed, and parking lot is near by the properties

BBQ didn’t work strong enough to cook our steaks-thankfully there was a mini induction stove inside. Waterfront wasn’t great for our son as it was up on a stone ledge, but otherwise gorgeous, just not great for his age. Cleanliness in main lodge could have been a bit better, smelt moldy when we first walked in which immediately gives you a bit of a strange feel. But overall we still loved it.

Location is amazing, extremely easy check in, very comfortable stay close to nature but also access to high speed wifi. Cute fire pits patios. Access to canoes, kayaks and paddle boards and a gorgeous Waterfront to explore on.

There was only a strip of sand. Other guests monopolized the docking area. Property should’ve given us who were out of town guests the heads up that there is a fire ban on so the fire pits could not be used. Brought firewood and couldn’t use it.

there was no staff on-site outside of the office hours. The window didn’t have a screen so bugs were getting in and the heat/cooling was broken. we had an EXTREMELY obnoxious group in the room next to us BLARING music between 1-3am and no one to contact to deal with them. it was highly disruptive.

Great Property to explore, secluded and by the water. The use of water equipment was a bonus and some great areas to sit by the water.

a toaster may have been useful, though that may have been in the common room which we did not use.

The location and price were suited to our needs as a stop on our road trip, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I had concerns regarding the curtains positioned right over the heater for the room (we stayed end of January) as I could not manage to get the fireplace working, and did not get a response from the manager until the following morning.
