A lovely stay in the pretty little town of Gananoque!

We were surprised that there were no spa facilities (this was not mentioned when booking) Our room was nice, but the shower was freezing cold as there was no hot water. We didn't stay for breakfast, the choice wasn't great for us.

Our room was nice, the view over the lake was lovely, and the sunshine in March was a bonus! The location was great, really easy to walk into town and also to the pub next door! Staff were friendly and helpful!

Bigger television would be great. No HMI. A fridge and microwave would be a great option to put in room's.

Location is very good. Breakfast was good but my hubby ordered a side of toast for $2 and only got one piece. Showers were not overly hot. A lot of stairs to climb to get to your room, not good for knee or hip problems.

The breakfast was okay - choices of breads, bacon and eggs, but no fruit except the juice and no yogurts or cheeses.

Location is great with a courtyard and chairs outside the rooms looking over the lake. The employees were friendly helpful.

The coffee maker in my room wasn't working, and they didn't replace it. Fortunately I had brought some instant coffee powder with me!

The atmosphere and style of the hotel. The fire in the reception area was very homely and inviting. I lost the keys to my suitcase, and the staff were amazing and found tools and opened it!

Although the staff were hardworking and helpful, they could have been a little more friendly and warm. My partner was ill and needed hot water on a regular basis. Would have been nice if they could have provided a kettle. Other hotels on our trip were able to provide a kettle.

The room was clean and modern. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and so are the surroundings.

If you have mobility concerns, be sure to mention it when you book; there is no elevator but for most people walking up stairs to the third floor is fine There is only a shower, no bathtub, No mini fridge but ice and bucket available Like most hotels, the pillows are really fat and awkward to sleep on ….if you like a flatter pillow, bring your own

Great location on the waterfront, only a block from the Thousand Islands Playhouse Attractive clean Inn with a lovely foyer with fireplace Restaurant in the building and many nice restaurants, pubs nearby Safisfactory breakfast included Quiet environment

The room location was great. The window blackout curtains were old and did fit the size of window thus not being able to cover the entire window. There was no elevator of lift to help people with walking difficulties, this was my error for not checking before I booked the room. There was two dining table chairs without a table besides the desk and chair. The other problem was I could have got a cheaper rate for the same room including breakfast if I waited and booked on the hotel site directly one or two days before, Booking.com cost me an extra $70.00 for my two night stay. I will start checking with the hotels directly before using Booking.com in the future.

The breakfast room was also the lunch and dinner room. The room had great views of the the St Lawrence river from most of the tables. The breakfast staff were great along with the front desk staff.

We used Booking.com to get rooms. The hotel was not at all busy but they still put us in the very worst dooms there. We were in a motel type unit looking right on the pavement of the street and my car. Cheap on their part

The restaurant has gone to the dogs. The service is slow and confused. Tables are not being wiped down or cleared swiftly or at all in some cases. The menu is weird but the actual food is so much worse. We visited 3 years ago and while it wasn’t a Michelin star-worthy experience back then, it was totally fine and did the job. The restaurant ambience and view offer so much, it’s very disappointing that the food and service let it down. Breakfast (which was included) was very mediocre. Suggest you visit the restaurant for drinks only, and go elsewhere for meals (there is a gastropub across the road, we didn’t try it but it would be hard to do worse than Muskie Jakes).

Absolutely gorgeous location. Fabulous if you’re arriving by boat, or just to gaze out at the ferry cruises coming and coming. Very charming grounds, and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, playground/splashpad.
