How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower is on the low side and could use a boost.

Everything was perfect! Couzy apartment. Host was gently and giving all instructions. Place was impeccable. We felt like at home! It's located 10 minutes by car to old Quebec. Photos are accurate!

The second bed could have been more comfortable, but that is really a small complaint next to all the positives I could say about the condo.
The location was perfect--about 30 meters from the bus stops. Condo was spacious and well laid out. Secure. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Nothing, everything was great
The apartment is very spacious ,including large parking , five minutes by car to Quebec old city. Although it is located on main road with tracks etc, the windows blocks any noise, and it is quite. The apartment is very well equipped with all you need in the washrooms and in the kitchen.

The photos do not honor the uniqueness of the apartment. The cleanliness was amazing. It was cozy, and we felt safe. Which is something important to us. We were 3 girlfriends, and safety is the most. The parking made a difference also because it is hard to find cheap parking. We have a car and the apartment provided parking. I'm planning to come back with my husband and believe I will reserve this property. I recommend it Ah, the location is excellent. Near to all the touristic attractions

The noise from heavy vehicle traffic was excessive during the early morning hours as the business days began. Heavy traffic was minimal on weekend and Holiday Monday. An apartment in the rear of the building would eliminate this problem.
the facilities (washer, dryer, kitchen/cooking equipment) were well planned and appropriately useful. Access to parking and gym was simple and bedrooms were very comfortable. The hosts were easily accessible and extremely helpful with suggestions on travel and dining which allowed us to enjoy what the city had to offer.

The bnb was bright and airy and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of storage space. There were very good restaurants within walking distance.

Spacious and beautifully presented apartment with superb facilities for a family of four. The location is within a short drive (30 min walk) of Old Quebec City and the local neighbourhood had a lovely bakery/cafe for breakfast and various good restaurants for dinner. The roof terrace was a lovely spot for an evening drink and relax after a day of exploring the city. The owners provided lots of information and were incredibly helpful. Would recommend and stay there again.

We didn’t not like much at all! The walk to the Old City was mostly up hill!
We loved the balcony off the bedroom. The condo had everything we needed. Kitchen was wonderful (all appliances were excellent). Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family of five!

we felt like the location was but out of the way to the old city.
Ana was amazing and on top of things. All the info for check in and checkout was easy to follow and detailed. she was very helpful in also giving suggestions for things to as well. the place was super clean and nice and up to date. very accurate in the description and pictures.

Mattresses are two soft, at least for those who have back pain issues. My personal opinion, one of the two bedrooms must have orthopaedic/firm mattress, so that if someone has back pain issues can relax in the room with firm mattress. Except this everything was awesome!!
Property was sparkling clean and had a pleasant stay. Very close to downtown and restaurants. check in was an amazing experience. Ana is super prompt and always responded quickly to our messages. overall it was an amazing experience.

Excellent location, walking distance to Old Quebec City and the river. Grocery Shops nearby meant we didn’t have to drive anywhere. The private underground parking was a bonus. The hosts were so helpful. They had lots of tourist information already prepared. Also great attention to detail, everything we needed was in the apartment. We had a wonderful stay.
