Good location

We were given a different room to what we originally booked. The room had some damage but nothing major, the air conditioning didn't really work very well. It was permanently trying to heat the room regardless of setting. Additional towels would have been great, the ones we had weren't the cleanest either.

The apartment was in a great location, there was a lot of life around the area and good access to a variety of things. The room felt secure and was easy to in and out of the building once you knew what you were doing.

Light at bathroom mirror not working. No lampshade on bedroom lamp. No stopper for kitchen sink. No tea towel to dry the few dishes we used no facecloths.

Very convenient in terms of theatre and places to eat. Starbucks right next door and Dollarama across the road. Great view of downtown.

the noise of construction at 2 am and starts at 6 am. the smell of new flooring, cabinets was strong.

Place wasn’t super clean but nothing extreme.

Owner was friendly and quickly accommodated us after our initial room became unavailable. The new location couldn’t be any better in front of the CN Tower.

Dust gets into the property a lot so you have to clean almost everyday. Some items also need fixing like the light in the toilet, the window treatments, etc. A couple of bar stools would be nice so everyone can enjoy a nice meal sitting together.

The property is centrally located in downtown Toronto. It is right next to the main attractions and everything is in few minutes walking distance - banks, groceries, coffee shops, restaurants and drugstores, even the Eaton center. Our host Isaac was also very helpful and responsive. 😊

Cleanliness, walls are all scuffed marked. Toilet paper holder hanging off wall, need to change the shower curtain. No bowels

Apartment is definitely not for 5 adults. In my opinion it would be most suitable for a family od 2 adults + 2 teenagers

Excellent location in the downtown allows to reach the major sightseeings by foot! The owner was very hospital to deliver things we needed.

We were very happy, thank you.

The location of this property is perfect! We had easy access to the whole of the city. A main station is on your doorstep, connecting you to as far as you want to go in Canada! We took the GO train to Niagra Falls and were so grateful that we could get a train back to our doorstep! The host is so lovely. He recommended places to see and Eat and even gave us advice on where to play football for my son. There is a food shopping mall right outside the property, which was handy for stocking up on food (saving us money eating out!), and lots of great places to eat and drink. The apartment has a lovely view and is right next to the harbour, perfect for late-night and early-morning strolls or runs next to the water! it also has a washer and dryer so you can go home with clean clothes. We felt right at home here, and we will definitely be back again next time we are in town.

The appartment wasn't clean. It was even dirty. The morning after the first night, we even discovered that a mouse came into the apartment and ate one of our biscuits. The owner told us that it took care of it with an exterminator, but it was clear that he dodn't come in the apartment to get rid of the mouse, as said. Then, he refused to reimburse, even though we had to sleep in an unsanitary apartment as he didn't have any other apartments to provide for us. The owner was clearly dishonest and the communication with him was terrible.

The only good thing about this property was the location. Everything else was bad.

Our host had to change the location at the last moment, but as a result we were in a larger condo at the same price, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately the code for the lock box had changed from that provided by our host, so there was some texting required to get into the box.

Smell Cleanliness Shower Quality of furniture

This was the absolute most disgusting unit I have ever stayed in and I am begging you to never book here. I booked a unit with a balcony. A day before my travel, I messaged the owner to receive check in instructions. The owner did not reply for about 13 hours. When he finally did, he apologized saying that the unit I booked has damages and I will not be able to stay there. He offered another unit 7 minutes away. I asked for a listing and he could not provide one. I pushed back saying that I booked that building because my office is right next to it, and he said that I should not worry and that he will find me a unit in the building. I got there, after begging for the check in instructions multiple times. When I entered the unit, it smelled like an ash tray. The cigarette smell was so strong that I got dizzy. I messaged the owner and asked him to help me. He said he has another unit in the building and gave me the unit number. I checked it out and it also had an awful smell of cigarettes. I decided to stay in the first unit. I could not sleep from the strong smell. It was in the sheets. It was everywhere. The walls were stained; the furniture was broken. It was awful. Then, in the morning, I wanted to take a shower. There is no shower head. It’s basically a pipe with spewing water. It’s disrespectful and I could not believe my eyes. Do not stay here. Please.

They changed the apartment and it was unfavorable. The beds are very uncomfortable, the towels are poorly washed, the balcony is dirty and full of waste, and there’s no view to the city.

Nothing we didn't like but a few suggestions to host for future renters. Additional lights/bulbs (Host provided this upon asking no problem). Also, the washing machine is tricky and might need some configuration. Lastly, some additional kitchenware - coffee/tea mugs and a wine bottle opener :)

Favorite thing about the apartment was the location, which is perfect for night-life, exploring the city, and shopping. Our host was excellent, always available for any questions or requests without hesitation.
