Encountered a very rude staff person in the hallway as I was trying to get off the elevator, quite off putting to say the least . Everyone else I encountered was lovely. Breakfast was good and nice that it was served.

Elevator was inaccessible during stay. Place was very packed for 2 conferences and a cheer weekend. Staff were not monitoring kids playing on elevators which meant climbing stairs to the top level for our rooms (I'm also pregnant) which was not great.

Breakfast was wonderful, always kept stocked up. Rooms were clean.

breakfast was excellent with full service the room was great with very comfortable beds , I had stayed the night before in Halifax at the Hampton inn at Hilton home suites and the stay at Inn on Prince Hotel was a lot better and better in quality and service, will defiantly be staying here again when visiting central Nova scotia

The breakfast was excellent and the serving area above par but the hotel does need some TLC. Eating area for breakfast was lovely so is entrance. The beds are comfortable and the room is acceptable however hall carpets are worn and dirty, doors and moulding have chipped paint. Time to spruce it up!

The hot tub was out of order, and in our room the television turned itself on in middle of the night while all were asleep… it was weird.

Uncomfortable bed (usually good on other stays) Musty odour in Mai. Floor hallway from front desk to dining area. Training new staff in kitchen so food quality less than usual (took 20 percent off dinner)

The rooms moulding on the ceiling were unfinished and there was a replaced piece of carpet that looked ratty.

That put a $200 CAD charge just to be the first time on your hotelm, that on reservatiob by booking, never mentioned, in fact today is monday and money is not back on my credit card yet.

The staff was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean. It was super quiet too. The only thing was that the bathroom was VERY small. But I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The pool area was a bit chilly 😬 but the water temperature was good. It would be nice to have a little slide for the kiddos, down at the deep end ! Also, another access ladder on the side for less experienced swimmers to get to quicker if they get tired. The hot tub was out of order still, that was disappointing especially since it was cool when you got out of the pool . Thankful for the shower 🚿 there though. There was really no place to hang wet bathing suits in the bathroom; a rack or couple of hooks might be a good addition ! The bathroom was very small, tight quarters.

Our favorite thing is going to a place that has a pool. (Mainly for our grandson 💙) I have been going to this hotel for many years 20+, when it was called 'Keddys' The new ownership has done lovely renovations. And the breakfast which is included is definitely a plus; and the dining room is nice. It is wonderful to have a microwave in the room as well, especially when you are one who needs to reheat her coffee 😊, but also for popcorn to go with an evening movie. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Towels were available at the pool, even though most of us had taken our own. But, when we left my grandsons behind, they were able to locate it for us - thank you to the staff !!

The carpet in the room was rather shabby. We needed help to get the TV on - no instructions and 2 different remotes. Hot water for tea at Breakfast was tepid, milk had run out too.
