We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room sometimes got warm but since it was March, we just opened the window to cool us off. Duvet on the bed just fit over the bed. I’m sure I could’ve asked for another duvet if I wanted to, but we were only there for a few nights and so it wasn’t a bother.
Price was great. Room was small but we didn’t stay in the room and so didn’t mind. Bathroom was small but it was newer and worked great with good water pressure. We walked to and from the train station in about 15 mins. There was a bus that we could’ve taken just outside the hotel. The hotel provided a transportation card that we used for free bus rides. Our favorite things in the area for our short visit - walks along the lake, Charlie’s World (a surprisingly great thing to do), and Chateau de Chillon.

IsraelThe bathroom is small but managbale for not verry big humans. There was no place to open the suitcase other than the floor. There is no storage/closet space at all. There was no direct link to the reception. The higher floor has a flight of stairs with no elevator, other floors are conected to the elevator. The room can only be freshend by opening the window, there is no AC or fan.
The room was clean, and had a big window. It is ok for one person yet would be barely enough for two. There is alittle table with one chair, a bed, two night stands and a TV. The location is 1.4km from the center up the hill - it is an OK walk when not extreamly hot. You get a transportation pass when you get to the hotel. but there is no bus from the center late at night so walking is necesary. The personal were very friendly and helpful. There is breakfast available if you inform the desk in the afternoon of the previous day.

We liked that is was close, that is walking distance to the Chaplin World, which was the purpose of our visit! "Downtown" is walkable from the hotel However the hotel give you free passes to the bus, which really came in handy.

We were also able to leave our bags on departure day and pick them up in the afternoon before travelling on by train. Our room was small and basic, as was the bathroom, but this is reflected in the relatively budget friendly room charge and was what we expected. The hotel is in walking distance to Chaplins World.

Very friendly and helpfully staff. Great place to stay for a few days. Easy to get around with public transport pass that is payed through the city tax.

SwitzerlandNothing really! Just perhaps clearer details on how to get to the hotel. If arriving by train, there is a local train (3 mins) to the hotel from the opposite side of the 'city' entrance/exit of the main station.
The gentleman at the reception was lovely and super helpful. Gave us tips and information on what to see around the city as well as local information. Also gave us two discount cards for the main attractions which were a huge help!

Best value for money hotel in all of our Switzerland trip. Free (though a bit tight) parking, small but clean room, and informative staff about what we can do around. It's not much, but it met our overall expectations.

Breakfast was OK but after staying overniht, we didnt have any high expectations. This hotel is about as bare bones as u can make it. They had parking for only 6 cars and if u left and those parking slots were taken, you would be SOL. we left the car parked and the host gave us free bus passes to use to get into town, as its too far to walk. the host tried to make our stay more comfortable.

This is a good hotel. We enjoyed staying there. The room was compact but large enough for our needs. Its was very clean neat and tidy. Its about 15 mins walk from the lake but the price reflects this. If you want luxury look elsewhere but this hotel offers good value for money.
