Coffee machine was stuck and not working. As previous guest, might have put the coffee capsule the wrong way around. However, the hotel staff should have checked but did not. I managed to clear and fixed it myself. Apart from that, there was no other issues.

The hotel is close to the main train station, maybe 10 minutes walk. Breakfast was fine for me, as I don't eat much. So, scrambled egg, bacon and croissants were just enough, and coffee was good. We managed to check-in 2 hours early, which is a bonus. Room was clean, as expected. Room size is just what I expect from European hotels and just right for two people. I also love the music they played in the restaurant.

The room, 410, was on the back side of the building and very quiet, with a decent view and a large balcony. Our friends had mountain views in the front, but they said there was more street noise, with the windows and doors open. All the "10s", 210, 310, 410, etc probably were the same as our room, which was great. Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was so good. We ate a good dinner at the same restaurant, also. Parking is self-park in the zone around the hotel for about 15E per day. It was easy to find a place. You can pull right up on to the front sidewalk to load and unload your car. Don't obstruct the bus lane. Location is perfect! Lucerne is a very beautiful town!

The rooms were beautiful: very clean and updated with a unique decor. The staff was very kind and helpful, always available to assist with any needs. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of foods. Finally, the location was centrally located, easy to get to the train station for all day trips and close to the sights of Lucerne. Overall great stay!

The entire staff was amazing, including front desk Carla. We loved the unique, quirky design and accessories. We also loved our fabulous huge balcony overlooking the old city. Breakfast was great also.

Our shower leaked through the door all over the bathroom each time we took a shower. We learned quickly to mitigate that issue with lots of towels on the floor. The hotel is quite minimalist towards the bathroom amenities. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and lotion and hair dryer.

Perfect location. Close enough to the city central and train station yet also very close to the Old Towne. Staff were very helpful. Their breakfast was outstanding and we ended each night in their beautiful bar/restaurant.

Easy to get to if you have to walk. The manager was wonderful. It was a sweet room and the maid organized our stuff every morning. She did a great job. It was at the beginning of the hauptstr shopping area. The manager even drove us to the train station as we had the luggage from hell

The staff were amazing from the moment we entered the hotel. We were given a room upgrade with views of the snow-capped mountain. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were a bit soft so we asked for a harder pillow which was not a problem for the staff, they brought us another 2 pillows but later found that all their pillows are made of feathers to help those with allergies which is great. The room had double walls, which was great because we could not hear any noise from the street. The hotel was within walking distance to the centre of town and 10min walk to the train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luzern.

A mini bar fridge would have been handy. Also, a small wardrobe for hanging clothes would have been helpful. Otherwise, all good.

The location was excellent, a short 10 minute walk to Luzern Station, very convenient for transport to main activities, close to good restaurants and the Rosengart Art Gallery. Very friendly concierge and excellent 'all you can eat' breakfast.
