The duvets on the king beds were single duvets lying sideways across the bed. This meant your feet stuck out the bottom. Extremely irritating. The same was in our friend's room.

The only "negative point" is that the rooms don't appear to be soundproofed against noise in the hallways. Any footsteps, conversations or other noise could easily be heard through the door and could disturb one's sleep.

The location was ideal, in close proximity to the train station, at less than 5 minutes on foot. It was also located nearby to other restaurants in the area, which are cheaper for those being budget conscious and not necessarily wishing to go to the old city centre. The receptionist was very friendly and was immediately welcoming. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, as it was large, well illuminated and spacious.

Pillows.

Near the station so very convenient as we were just staying overnight between trains. Rooms were very clean and functional, but the pillows were so soft they gave no support to the head. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was very strong! The staff were very helpful.

Noisy even if the window is closed.

Simple room but good for one or two nights to stay. Especially if you'd like to travel on a train. Or if you take a bernina Express bus. The hotel is 3 minutes from the station on foot.

It is somehow old fashion. But attended perfectly for a one night stop.

Very brief stay necessitated by train time tabling issues. Warm welcome at nearly midnight and the early breakfast start meant that we were able to have it. Noisy street but it was a Saturday night!

Large clean comfortable room & bathroom, the hotel & furniture feels a touch dated but this gives it a faded charm, the staff I dealt with were polite, friendly & helpful. The hotel is located approximately 10 - 15 minutes walk from the lake front (there is a funicular that takes a couple of minutes from the station to the centre) but is very handy for the train station, if you arrive by train leave from the rear of the station and the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk.

The only thing I didn't like is that my room was on a busy road, and the windows didn't fully protect from the traffic noise. Maybe it's just the downside of being so close to the station.

The hotel is situated only two minutes from Lugano Station. Although it is quite sober it is also very clean and neat, with the necessary soap, shampoo and towel. The bed is of good quality. I liked the balcony for sitting out on a balmy night. Staff was helpful and polite.

Thin curtain (more like a net curtain) so eye mask needed. The hotel is on a main road and there is little sound proofing within the building so ear plugs are useful if you're a light sleeper.

Close to Lugano train station, friendly welcome. Payment is made at check-in so check-out just involves leaving the room key. Bed comfortable and larger than a normal single bed, hot water available any time of day. Very reasonable price for a hotel in Switzerland but don't expect more than the basics.

The city center is a bit away and there are very less eating options here. Hotel needs a bit of an uplift as it feels it is quite old.

The hotel is very close to the train station but on the other side of the city center. The reception person Roberto was really very helpful as he gave us a room with beautiful views of the city and mountain.
