Rooms and the common areas are a mix of very dated or modernised to a very basic, unwelcoming standard.

Our room was facing a local road and, with the window open, our sleep was disturbed in the night. The mattress was a little firm for me.

Good standard of room, good breakfast, close to highway so great for a short break of a journey to Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location for some walking/hiking with nearby views over Lake Lucerne.

It's right out of the highway (6 min) in a very good location if you want to stop and go. I just stayed one night without really exploring the surroundings. Too bad because the mountains around look beautiful.

Could not fault the staff esp the lovely lady on reception who went above and beyond to sort a small glitch. Good size room with nice ensuite bathroom. Excellent service

The breakfast food choice was limited and some tables seemed to be reserved for special guests, and everyone else just got what was left even if the tablecloths were dirty. (We ate dinner in a lovely pizza place by the lake but you can eat at the hotel.) The check in and check out were efficient but unwelcoming. The mountain views were very limited from our room. There were fireworks in the evening for Swiss national day celebrations but noone thought to tell us about them so we ended up missing them as we were in bed and couldn't see them from our room.

For Switzerland the hotel is one of the cheaper ones. It was a 10min drive to the lake for a swim. The room was spacious and clean, but sparse and clinical but I guess for the price that's what you get in Switzerland. It's an OK place to stay if you are just passing through for the night but next time we will pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.

Too much noise from cars passing by. The church bells are also annoying but I don’t think they can change that. Room on 3rd floor but still too much noise to sleep well with open window.

Emmetten is a nice place for a short stay. It was a good place for one night on our way to Italy. Friendly staff

The staff are nice, but the service is quite amateur, not client-oriented. The person who welcomes us and served at dinner, spoke only Swiss-German. Although the breakfast is until 10, at 9.40, when we came, some food was finished and not replenished.

Relatively cheap price in the area, located in a beautiful place, but there are no beautiful views from the hotel

The church nearby has a loud bell, every hour and quarters bells from 5 am to 11 pm and at 5 am bells a lot. It's not the hotel's fault..., but disturbing.

Good breakfast, jugurt, coffee, milk, juice, bread, serials, ham, cheese, eggs. Very good location. Store nearby. Cablecar to mountain nearby. Middle of little town Emmett. Room was quiet and not too hot.
