Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Breakfast or dinner options either in the hotel or nearby. Has a cute bar for a quiet beer or wine. Best hotel find I've had in years. I'm coming back.

BelgiumThe beds were not comfortable. The mattresses are very thin and so we didn't sleep well, which was a shame after being on the mountain all day. Also, the restaurant ran out of hot breakfast on weekends, if you didn't get downstairs by 0900, there were no eggs or hot bacon / sausage for your breakfast.
The hotel is close / walking distance to everything, which was very convenient and nice to have. It's a very short walk. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. It was gorgeous and we didn't have any noise issues at night. The breakfast was also quite good.

ArmeniaWe had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Hotel Excelsior in December 2023. The location is convenient, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Excellent position, close to everything including town centre and old town. Paid extra for a view of the Matterhorn, loved sitting on our veranda taking it all in. Free pick up and drop off from railway station on request. Great variety for breakfast. Loved that it had a lift. Bed was comfortable.
