Shower curtain is a nuisance. Investing in à plexiglas door would be à great idea.

Only few pictures on the walls of the mini apartment, it looks a little bare. A very negative mark to the Zentrum Paul Klee. Renzo Piano planned this marvellous building, which contains thousands of paintings by one of my favourite artists, but the majority are not on show, only an extremely limited selection. Don't go!

Exactly what was needed by us. The central position made it possible for us to visit the town in comfort, reach the restaurants nearby, of which there is ample choice. Also, we appreciated the kitchenette and the possibility of enjoying our breakfast in full relax

Amazing accomodation in the centre of the city.Easily found and the instructions of getting the key were clear. It was clean,big enough for two people and really had everything we could need.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe just as a suggestion, I would recommend the host to have a Schuko plug adapter in the room.

Everything was great, the kitchen was complete and had spices as well so that we didn't have to buy them. Especially in Switzerland this has saved us some money! The place is perfectly located right in the centre and the evenings were always pretty quiet. Don't know if it's a feature of every B&B in Bern but we got a Bern Ticket for our entire stay that allowed us to move freely around the city using public transports :)

The bathroom is well equipped but small - it might be something to mention. Getting past the sink and towel racks in the middle of the night could be challenging.

Valeri's info manual is absolutely wonderful. It is such a treat to have immediate access to useful information. The location is truly perfect when the goal is to immerse yourself in Old Town Bern. Trams were close by, an easy walk to the train station. The space is small but Valeri has equipped it with storage for the guest as well as a small but well equipped kitchen. We were very happy to find that the street was quiet and nothing kept us awake after a hard day of exploring.

We didn't like the very low bed. It was quite comfortable but just very low. This would probably not be an issue for a young couple but we are much older. The bathroom was also very small and awkward to use the small sink. There is also no lift in the building, which is a disadvantage if one has heavy cases.

It's an apartment, so no breakfast. The location was excellent and the host, Valerie was extremely helpful. The main studio room was very pleasant, light & airy.

It was quite warm when we stayed so the aircon would have been excellent, but the host did add a fan and humidifier only they were a little noisy.

There were many lovely, thoughtful extra touches, such as nice tea, earplugs and toothpaste. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was really comfortable. The location was perfect.

This was the perfect stay in Bern. The location was ideal, the apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was also the bonus of several thoughtful amenities like a universal power plug, a welcome Swiss chocolate, coffee and basic toiletries. Every detail was well thought out from the instructions to use the washing machine to recommendations on places to visit in Bern. I would highly recommend the Heart of Bern!

Valerie’s instructions for check-in and check-out were super clear - we loved the video she made of how to access the keys, etc.! The place was perfect for our needs as a couple. It was clean, well designed, had a fan (😃😃😃), had new toothpaste, new toothbrushes, shower gel/body wash, shampoo, cookware, coffee (with lots of pods), spices, sugar, creamer. All these little things that you may not find at some of the other nice AirBnbs sometimes. Valerie was also very sweet about letting us check in early, as we had to check out from our previous hotel much earlier plus there was no guest scheduled for the day we arrived, so we got lucky! At night, this place is on PARTY CENTRAL street, which was PERFECT for us! Keep in mind that the street will be loud till late, but if you close your windows, and turn on the fan, you will sleep in the comfortable bed perfectly well! Thanks very much, Valerie - we will definitely stay with you again if we come to Bern!

The host, Valerie, created an excellent little video describing how the lock box worked and how to get into the building g and apartment. It was really helpful as I’ve spent ages at some properties just looking for the box!! Also, her communication was prompt and really helpful, and she had thought of everything in the apartment itself.
