There were people driving cars very fast late at night and it made a lot of noise, but that is not the fault of the hotel.

The room was a good size and very clean. There could have been a little bit more choice at breakfast.

Our room was quite large. It felt awesome to freely move inside without bumping into furniture. The bathroom was indeed another nice surprise.

I am not sure if it was possible to request this but the room was not equipped with a safe. Window blind was a bit old school and it took some effort to open and close. It also makes some noise while opening and closing it which is not nice at night. You can hear the noise from the breakfast hall if you are staying on the same floor.

The rooms were quite big in size and comfortable. You can find all basic things you would expect from the room. The hotel is located just outside the old town and takes only 10 minutes from the station by walking. You can walk to the old town within a couple of minutes. Nice breakfast. Public transport ticket was included in my stay along with free entrance/discount cards for city attractions.

Not a whole lot to dislike … a little bit of noise from the bar next door though only an issue if you kept windows open and are sensitive to that kind of thing in the evenings.

It was my fault, I didn’t know that Switzerland has different sockets and the room had only the Swiss type. Keep in mind to bring an adaptor.

The streets around the hotel are quite nosy and loud during the night. However the hotel provides earplugs.

The hotel is a 5 min walk away from the city center, perfect for a weekend trip.

The price is quite high. The city tax is also high, but pubic transportation is included.

The hotel is quite comfortable, close to the city center, 10 min. walk from the train station. The room was clean, equipped with coffee machine. The weather was hot, what is not usual in Swiss, so there is no air conditioning in the room, although a high performance fan was there.

Breakfast wasn’t anything special, no croissants left even though we arrived nearly an hour before the end of breakfast service, and the bread was dry. For 18chf pp this was disappointing.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is also very central and one can reach the center of the town, the lake and the train station within minutes walking.

- The price was quite high for what it is, and for what seemed to be off-season for tourism, but obviously this will vary depending on multiple factors so you might be able to book it for less.

- Great location, close to the center and the lake and close to the bus stop and the funicular going to the train station. - Clean - Buffet breakfast was not included but it was worth the price - The city card that you receive for the tourist tax is worth it (public transport in all the canton and acess to many museums and attractions in all the canton).

Breakfast was very delicious. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is situated on a very central place, not far from the beautiful lakeside. I could recommend this nice hotel very much.
