Wonderful breakfast Very comfortable beds and great location

Second time staying at this hotel. Staff is helpful and accommodating at check-in. Very convenient location, especially when driving a car to Luzern. Close enough to walk to everything in the city, but far enough off the main streets to be quiet and private. Excellent breakfast as well.

Not the hotel's fault but the church across the street rang its bells all night long, every 15 minutes. Needless to say, we didn't sleep all night because of it. In many towns throughout Europe, church bells go from 8am to 8pm which makes more sense for modern times. Keep the charm going but respect the fact it's the 21st century and bells are not needed to tell people time 24/7. I actually love church bells, it's always a special treat when I hear them but not all night when they keep me up all night!

This hotel has a great location in the old town and a convenient parking lot across the street if you are traveling by car. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Room on top floor very hot, when windows open noise from bars and restaurants, we moved rooms second night too a quieter facing room over entrance court yard which was on a lower floor, much more cooler and quieter. Staff were very helpful about this and understanding, can’t fault them thank u

We were in the annex with no air conditioning so it got pretty warm. I imagine it would get pretty hot and uncomfortable if it was a hot day.

Great location right next to the river! The annex was spacious yet cosy. Perfect spot in the city.

There is no air conditioning we stayed when it was 32 degrees and the room was unbearably hot, though there was a portable fan.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and reasonably well equipped for its rating and the location is excellent - walkable from the station and concert hall.

No air conditioner in the room- it was stormy during the night but we had to leave the windows open with the mini fan on to allow some air flow as it was so humid. Don’t think I could stay in the room during summer, but outside of the hotter months it would be fine. There was also a sewerage smell permeating into the room from outside. Unfortunately not much the property could do about it, but worth nothing for those with sensitive noses such as us

Excellent location- could see the bridge from our window. Friendly and helpful staff. Included breakfast was delicious and not tiny as you sometimes expect from included meals. Room very clean and large with a large shower. Useful mini fridge

No AC made for a hot stay but that’s very normal for hotels in Europe. It was good to have a fan.

For the rating and what we paid it was fine!

Situated 10 mins walk along river from train station. Pleasant staff on check in desk. Family room quite small. No aircon so it pretty hot but floor fan helped. Room was clean and rated as 2* so can’t complain. Breakfast ok (continental). This was a quick overnight stay so it suited its purpose.

- There was no storage room for your luggage. You can leave your luggage in the lobby if you like but the hotel cannot be responsible if they are lost so we chose to use the locker (CHF 15) to store our luggage at the train station, which is still pretty convenient. - The breakfast was fine, although I saw staff taking the egg/apple after one guest finished his breakfast (without washing) and put them on the plate for the next guest.

- The location is pretty good. Easy walk to the Chapel Bridge and river. - Staff is very very friendly and they provide hot water if you need any.

In summer the room got quite hot, especially with the morning sun.

The staff members were amazing!! We booked for two nights but only stayed for one due to a late flight and they refunded us the money for breakfast the next day which was a welcome surprise!

Very friendly staff, clean room, location. The room was hot at night since the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but they give us a little refund for that.

This is not the hotel's fault - but there is no AC, so be aware if you are booking during the summer.

Really friendly and helpful staff, good location within Lucerne. Good value for the price you pay.
