The windows were broken in our room, so we were very cold the first night. Then staff was able to change our room. The rooms don’t get very warm. It’s cold in the bathroom. The water tasted bad. We needed a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Usually hotels provide fridge and coffee. We thought it was unusual that the room did not have one.

Breakfast was delicious and we were satisfied with the food each day. Especially the espresso machine and ovomaltine! I’d like to suggest fresh cut fruit, like berries.

- rooms aren't soundproofed, not a restful night hearing your neighbours snoring - Swiss people are multilingual the same I would expect from the receptionists

It only has stairs if you are carrying heavy luggage it’s tough to climb up, you only get breakfast and no lunch or dinner they have a lovely patio some life snacks would be nice to have in the evening.

The size of the shower was very small!

The staff was very helpful. The hotel offers breakfast for a very low price and it's very good! During my stay, I had a window view of the Alps and it was breathtaking!

Furniture and interiors do show age and may need a paint job. Spider Webs in the balcony. No electric kettle or cups in the room.

The friendly staff, the lobby, the view from the balcony. Value for money in Lucerne. Distance from the train station and old town. Hair drier in the bathroom. Clean and modern bathroom.

very good breakfast with sufficient quantity, although not very varied; the room was clean and pleasant, the bathroom was functional and clean; the location of the hotel outside the center ensures peace at night, although the center can be reached on foot along the lake shore

Hot water pressure in the shower was very low.

Friendly receptionists, helpful with issuing the Lucerne visitor card and keeping my luggage in (early arrival). A complimentary bottle of water was provided, which is great. I had a single room on the 1st floor at the back, but it was a corner room with a side window with a view over the mountains too. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. Walking distance to the city center or easy to catch trolleybus 6 or 8.

We had a nice stay at Royal Hotel Luzern. A nice room with a fantastic view over the lake. Quiet area - but only a nice, short walk from the center of Luzern. No breakfast served, but complementary coffee and croissants - what more do you need? In comparison with other offers, the price was OK.

The location is awesome since we got mesmerizing view of the Luzern lake and the mountains. Very close to the train station , all shops and restaurants were around. We would love to come back !

Rooms were comfortable and well furnished . A small balcony was useful for sitting outside . Bed was superb , linen exceptional. Breakfast was full of hot / cold food buffet style. Our stay was great value for money and the tourist pass for free public transport was such a bonus ! Staff were ultra friendly and first class - nothing was too much trouble, we will return . Thank you
